れば落下位置の整合は容易であるが、苗の自由度が余り
大きすぎると苗の直立姿勢が不安定となって植付性能が
低下するし、またそのために自由度を少なくすると落下
位置の整合が悪くなり苗が突掛かったり苗の葉部を傷つ
けて活着が悪くなる心配がある。その他筒状の先端部を
開閉して苗を土壌面に植付据置する際にこの方法では据
置姿勢を矯正し難いので、苗の姿勢が傾斜したり転倒し

(25)とを該苗植駆動軸(17)の駆動によって動力を伝
達すべく伝動チエンによって連結する。該中間軸(24)
の他端側には駆動カム(26)を軸着し、この駆動カム
(26)と該支軸部(20)の内部に更に支承された苗爪作
動軸(27)の左端側に軸着された従動カム(28)とを一
定のタイミングによって該苗爪作動軸(27)を作動させ
るよう係合させる。該苗爪作動軸(27)の他端側に軸着
した傘歯車(29)と該苗保持具(3)に前後方向に支承
