られている。この開口部5によって、カバー2外部に位
置する外装ケース1に日射が当った場合でも加えられた
熱が熱伝導でなく熱伝達によってカバー2内部に伝えら
れるため、熱が遮断されたような状態となりカバー2内
部に位置する外装ケース1の温度分布は第4図のように
なる。従って、カバー2内雰囲気温度は、第3図に示す
ように外装ケース1の温度が低い分だけ、開口部5があ
る方が低くなるということになる。この時、換気のため
の通気口を設けた場合は、機器本体の発熱による影響は
小さくなるが、その分放熱ロスが増大化し、機器の性能
が低下する。又、本例では基板3を熱伝導率の低い樹脂
製としたため、基板3の内側へ開口部5を設けることが
可能であるが、基板3の材質を金属製にすると、基板3
の内側へ開口部5を設けると、外装ケース1を通じて基
板3へ熱が伝わりカバー2内の雰囲気を上昇させること
になるがその場合、カバー2と外装ケース1の接触面の
内側近傍である基板3の外側へ開口部5を設ければ、外
装ケース1からの伝熱を遮断できることになる。なお、
前記した開口部に低熱伝導性の樹脂などを取付け、空気
も出入りをなくすることにより、外装ケース1からの熱
伝導を少なくするとともに空気の出入りもなく熱的に良
