載せ台位置変更用モータMを設けてある。これらの予備
苗載せ台9の各苗載置部には、予備苗の有無を検出する
予備苗センサ10を設けるとともに、前記苗植付装置8
の苗載せ台8aには載置苗が無くなったことを検出する
ための苗センサ11を設けてあり、図3に示すように、
これら予備苗センサ10及び苗センサ11からの検出信
号を用いて前記予備苗載せ台位置変更用モータMを駆動
制御して、予備苗載せ台9を以下のように移動させるた
めの制御装置12を設けてある。即ち、通常の走行時に
は、予備苗載せ台9を格納位置に位置させ、操縦部5の
周りの空間を広く確保することで、原動機4との間の通
路を通っての畦際からの操縦部5への乗降をスムースに
行えるようにする。苗植付作業の進行に伴い苗植付装置
8の苗載せ台8aから載置苗がなくなったことが前記苗
センサ11によって検出されると、予備苗載せ台9を取
出位置にまで回動させ、苗取出し口を操縦部5に近付け
ることで予備苗を手数少なく取り出せるようにする。そ
して、予備苗が1つ取り出されたことが予備苗センサ1
0によって検出されれば、予備苗載せ台9を格納位置に
戻す。さらに、この予備苗載せ台9上に予備苗が無くな
ったことが前記予備苗センサ10によって検出される
と、予備苗載せ台9を畦際位置にまで回動させ、畦から
予備苗載せ台9への予備苗の補給を行い易くする。そし
て、予備苗が全ての苗載置部に供給されたことが予備苗
センサ10によって検出されれば、予備苗載せ台9を格
納位置に戻す。なお、制御装置12における12aはコ
ントローラ、12bはリレー回路、12cはフィードバ
ック制御するために用いるエンコーダである。
