Therefore, be sure to explain the manufacturing method of the reinforcing core material 11, the polyester fiber mat 12 arranged in the required width and thickness is impregnated with vinylidene chloride-acrylonitrile copolymer at a predetermined content rate, and then heated. When heated by the apparatus to about 120 ° C., the vinylidene chloride-acrylonitrile copolymer foams into micro-balloons 13 in the form of micro closed cells. Next, the fiber mat 12 is passed between rollers to be compressed to increase the bulk specific gravity, thereby providing a porous structure as a combined body of the microballoon 13 having high pressure resistance and the fiber mat 12 having excellent tensile strength. A reinforcing core material 11 is obtained.

Next, in order to prepare the box body 2 and the lid 4 made of the composite reinforced plastic in which the reinforcing core material 11 is embedded in the FRP10 layer, respective molds are prepared, and first, the well-known hand layup is performed. Method, spray-up method, etc., on the mold surface of the lower mold, a FRP forming layer of a predetermined thickness, that is, in this case, a glass fiber layer impregnated with an uncured polyester resin is applied, and the reinforcing core material 11 is overlaid thereon. In addition, the FRP forming layer is applied again to have a predetermined thickness, and finally the upper mold is pressed against the upper surface of the reinforcing core material 11. Penetrate into. Then, when the resin is cured in this state, the box body 2 and the lid 4 made of the composite reinforced plastic having a desired shape are completed.

The box body 2 may be formed by separately forming the rear wall portion and the peripheral wall portion and then combining them by an adhesive method. Also, the flange 6 may be separately formed, and the edge of the opening 3 of the box body 2 may be formed. It may be joined to the part.

次に、上記構成の作用を説明する。Next, the operation of the above configuration will be described.

The truck tool box 1 is fixed to the chassis B of the truck A as shown in FIG. 5 by a mounting bracket (not shown) as described above. In this state, naturally, rainwater, car wash water, etc.
Since it penetrates into the gap between the lid and the lid 4,
There was a high possibility that these water would enter the box and wet the tool, damaging the tool without noticing it.

However, according to the present invention, the gutter is provided around the opening 3 of the box body 2.
Since the flange 6 provided with the 6a is circulated, the water that has entered the above-mentioned gap will not reach the upper edge of the opening 3 of the box body 2 as can be understood by referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. It is positioned and received by the gentle mountain-shaped gutter 6a, diverts the inside of this groove toward both left and right ends, and further flows down in the downward facing gutters 6a connected to each of these ends, and falls directly under the box. .

However, as a plastic, in FRP10 which is particularly excellent in cost-specific strength, further, as a reinforcing core material 11, a fiber mat 12 mixed with microballoons 13 is embedded, using a special composite reinforced plastic. Therefore, it is possible to make a tool box 1 for trucks that is more cost effective than FRP.
