2. Description of the Related Art The core material of wood is reddish black and is generally called "Akata". It is rarely used as a high-grade member such as furniture, and is used as a building material or a member not on the surface. However, the core material is always present in each piece of wood, and even if sufficient consideration is given to wood removal, this part is included to some extent. Particularly, for high-grade tree species, from the viewpoint of improving the yield, it is desired to develop color matching technology in this part.

When the air inside the wood (1) is extracted, a predetermined amount of decolorizing liquid is supplied from the decolorizing liquid tank (3a) into the high temperature and high pressure container (2) by the supply pump (13) through the chemical liquid supply pipe (14). (A) is supplied, and as shown in FIG. 3, wood (1)
Is immersed in the decolorizing solution (a). Then, in this state, the circulation pump (9) of the heating circulation device (11) is operated to circulate the decolorizing liquid (a) inside the high-temperature high-pressure container (2) while heating it with the heat exchanger (10). The wood (1) and the decolorizing liquid (a) are heated at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time. Then, the wood (1) is decolorized by reacting with the decolorizing liquid (a). In particular, the reddish black core material portion called “Akata” is concentrated and decolorized by the reducing agent of the decolorizing liquid (a), and the color tone of the core material portion and the sapwood portion of the wood (1) is about the same. . Then, by observing the degree of decolorization of the wood (1) with a sensor (for example, judging the sampled decolorization liquid (a) with a colorimeter), the wood (1) is toned to a desired color. For example, hydrosulfite 1.25-2.
Using the decolorizing solution (a) prepared at a ratio of 50%,
It was confirmed that when the wood (1) was immersed for 30 minutes while being heated to ℃, the core material and the sapwood had the same color tone while the original color of the wood (1) was retained. .

When the decolorization of the wood (1) is completed, the decolorization liquid (a) in the high temperature and high pressure container (2) is drained through the drainage pipe (8), and then the press cylinder (1) of the press device (4) is discharged.
The piston rod (17a) of 7) is extended and the pressure member (1
5) The wood (1) placed on and supported by the pedestal (16) by pushing down the press cylinder (17) as shown in FIG.
The pressure is applied through the pressure member (15). At this time, since the wood (1) is heated in the decoloring process and sufficiently softened, the wood (1) can be easily compressed to a predetermined cross-sectional area ratio. Thus, when the wood (1) is pressed and compressed by the press device (4), the decolorizing liquid (a) that has penetrated into the wood (1) is extruded and the moisture content becomes uniform, and at the same time, The pits inside the wood (1) are destroyed so that the water flow is not obstructed.

As described above, according to the method of the present invention, the wood containing the core material portion called "Akata" is decolorized with the decolorizing liquid containing the reducing agent, so that the original color of the wood is retained. In this state, only the red and black color of the core material is intensively decolorized to a color tone similar to that of the sap material, and this is toned to a desired color tone with a toning solution containing an oxidizing agent. Color matching is easy, and the reducing agent of the decolorizing agent is neutralized by the oxidizing agent of the toning solution so that it does not change with time due to residual chemicals.
