Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a filter element disposable easily by incineration by a user himself so that increased economy is achieved and contribution to the prevention of pollution from occurring is made by forming each member of the filter element from a flammable synthetic resin material. CONSTITUTION:This filter element is composed of a porous core cylinder 1 with both open ends, a filtration material 2 which is fitted into the outer side of the core cylinder 1, and an end plate 3 which is inserted into both ends of the filtration material 2. In addition, the core cylinder 1 is formed from mesh polyethylene or polypropyrene, the end plate 3 from urethane resin, and the filtration material 2 from nonwoven cloth or paper, and these materials are flammable. Consequently, the useless filter element can be incinerated by a user himself.

Since the filtration element described in the prior art is used in a wide variety of applications for fluid filtration from automobiles to industrial applications, it is inevitable that some elements become unusable due to clogging. In general, a large amount of waste occurs every day, and these are discarded by landfillers in the same shape or crushed to reduce bulk, and in recent years, landfill shortages and pollution prevention regulations have been imposed. The current situation is that it has become difficult due to. Further, even if the element is crushed, since the core tube and the end plate forming the element are made of a metal material, the crushing work takes time and labor. The user has to bear the burden of increasing the financial burden on the user side. Therefore, the present invention allows all the members constituting the filter element to be formed of a combustible synthetic resin material so that the user can perform the combustion treatment by himself, and thus the conventional disposal to the landfill or the treatment to the treatment company. The purpose is to eliminate the need for a request completely, improve economic efficiency, and help prevent pollution.

1 shows a cross-sectional view of a filter element, which comprises a porous core tube 1 having openings at both ends, a filter medium 2 inserted outside the core tube 1, and both ends of the filter medium 2. This filter element is inserted into a casing (not shown) for permeating the fluid flowing into the casing through the porous core tube 1 and the filter medium 2 on the outside thereof. , Is a common form of this type of fluid filtration element that filters fluid by this permeation.

In view of the above, according to the gist of the present invention, the porous core tube 1 is formed of a combustible material such as polyethylene or polypropylene having a required mesh as shown in FIG. 2, and the end plate 3 is formed of urethane foam resin or the like. It is also made of a flammable material. In addition, as the filter medium 2, non-woven fabric, paper, glass wool, etc. are used, and it goes without saying that all of them are flammable materials.

The filter element shown in FIG. 1 is manufactured as follows by way of example. As shown in FIG. 3, a mold 4 is used, and the mold 4 is preliminarily heated, and a predetermined amount of paste-form urethane foam resin 3a at room temperature is put therein, and a porous core as shown in FIG. The urethane resin 3 is obtained by fitting the end faces of the cylinder 1 and the filter medium 2 in a fitted state.
a adheres to the end face, the resin is foamed and solidified in a short time by contact with the atmosphere, and the end plate 3 made of urethane resin is naturally formed by the releasing after the solidification.

As described above, according to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained. (A) Since all the members of the porous core cylinder, the filter medium, and the end plate constituting the filter element are made of a combustible synthetic resin material, the user can easily disuse the filter element that cannot be used. Since it is possible to incinerate, it is no longer necessary to request a disposal company to dispose of it in a landfill or crush it as in the past, and it is possible to improve economic efficiency and help prevent pollution. . (B) Since the end plate of the conventional filter element is made of metal, the end plate has to be fixed to the filter medium by using an adhesive, but in the present invention, the end plate may be fixed to the filter medium by molding. In terms of surface, there is an advantage that the bonding process can be omitted. (C) By molding the end plate from a synthetic resin material having elasticity, it is possible to achieve the packing action when the end plate is pressed against the surface of the casing.
