によつて、分割方法を変更することも可能であるが、例
えばA−A断面及びB−B断面共に、まず取付基部4a
と、ガラス6に当接しボデイ1とガラス6との間をシー
ルする中空シール部4bとに長手方向に沿つて二分し、中
空シール部4bの外形を持つ外金型に第1中子型を配置し
て一次成形し、内部に閉じ込められた第1中子型を抜出
し、次いで第2中子型及び別な外金型でその一次成形部
分である中空シール部4bと組合せ、他方の取付け基部4a
を二次成形し、中空シール部4bと接合し、全断面を形成
する。その二次成形に当たつては、一次成形部分の中空
シール部4bが第2中子型を保持し、その移動・変形を防
止することが容易であるため、小断面め第2中子型を挿
入することで成形上いささかも支障なく、二次成形後の
第2中子型の抜出しも容易であり、1セツトの金型によ
つて長尺のウエザーストリツプ部分片を製作することが
可能となり、一本のウエザーストリツプを成形するため
の部分片したがつて接合部5が低減され、それに全断面
成形することで中子型取出し孔の貼合わせ工数が低減さ
れると共に外観性が向上する。
