Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a degree of freedom in design of a refrigerant pipe to be improved and further an operating valve bracket to be mounted at an optional position by a method wherein a connecting end part of the refrigerant pipe to the operating valve is fixed to a base. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant pipe 15 connecting a compressor 15 with an operating valve 17 is fixed to a base 1d having a high strength and a high rigidity with a fixing fitting 21 near the operating valve 17. Due to this fact, even if the compressor 5 is vibrated and this vibration is transmitted to the refrigerant pipe 15 during an operation of an air conditioner, the vibration is not be transmitted over a fixing position for the base 1d. With such an arrangement as above, since a stress acting against the refrigerant pipe 15 subsequent to the fixed position is reduced, a degree of freedom in design of the refrigerant pipe 15 can be improved, the operating valve bracket 16 can be set at an optional position, for example, the right side surface 1e of the device casing 1.
