Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem in which the upper part of a compressor strikes against a cabinet to damage it in an air conditioner during its transporting operation in which devices constituting the air conditioner including a compressor supported on a base plate while its vibration is prevented by a method wherein a hook arranged at the upper part of the compressor is connected to a supported arranged between the devices by a wire. SOLUTION: An inner part of a casing (cabinet) 2 of an air conditioner is partitioned by a partition plate 5 into an indoor side chamber, an outdoor side chamber and a machine chamber. A compressor 14 and an accumulator 15 or the like are mounted within the machine chamber. The compressor 14 is fastened on a base plate 21 by stud bolts 23 through a cushion rubber 22. In this case, a hook 30 arranged at the upper part of the compressor 14 is connected to a support 32 arranged between the devices constituting an air conditioner such as the partition plate 5 or the like by a wire 33. With such an arrangement as above, in the case that a certain striking action is applied to the air conditioner, oscillation of the upper part of the compressor 14 is restricted by the wire 33 so as to prevent the upper part of the compressor 14 from striking against the cabinet 2 and damaging it.
