してなる下糸ボビンと、この下糸ボビンを回動自在に保
持するボビンケースと、針の上下動に同期して回転し、
前記ボビンケースから引き出された下糸と針に挿通され
た上糸を結節させる垂直釜を備えた本縫いミシンにおい
て、針板と釜との間の針落ち経路に対して水平方向に配
置され、通電することにより所定のジュール熱を発生す
る高電気抵抗体よりなる切断部材を先端部に有する下糸
切り部材と、該下糸切り部材の下方で下糸切り部材に並
設してボビンケースから次の縫い始めに必要な下糸長さ
分を繰り出す糸掛け部を先端部に有する下糸繰り出し部
材と、前記下糸切り部材と下糸繰りだし部材のそれぞれ
の後端部を一体に連結する連結部材と、該連結部材に連
結し、常には前記下糸切り部材と下糸繰り出し部材の先
端部が針落ち経路に対して退避位置にあり、糸切り時に
は糸切り作動位置に作用する進退可能な駆動手段と、該
駆動手段が糸切り作動位置に作用したとき、下糸繰り出
し部材が布とボビンケースとの下糸を繰りだすとともに
下糸切り部材の切断部材により下糸を切断した後、切断
されたボビンケースよりの下糸端を釜の上部方向に吹き
飛ばすためのエアー吹き出し手段とを備えて、前記駆動
手段の糸切り作動位置より退避位置への作用により前記
下糸を繰り出し部材の下面と釜の端面との間に挟持する
