At the rear end of the fixed cover 10, walls 47 project from both sides so as to surround the depth adjusting plate 42, and a through hole into which a pin 49 serving as a fulcrum of rotation of the cam lever 48 can be press-fitted is formed in this wall 47. The outer peripheral shape of the cam lever 48 for pressure contact fixing is eccentric with respect to the center hole, and when the cam lever 48 is raised vertically, the outer peripheral position approaches the fixed cover 10 side, and the depth adjusting plate 42 is connected to the cam lever 48. Fixed cover 1
It can be fixed by sandwiching it between 0's. Further, when the cam lever 48 is tilted horizontally, the outer peripheral position is separated from the fixed cover 10, and the depth adjusting plate 42
Is in a free state, and the base 11 can be rotated by slidingly moving the depth adjusting plate 42.

In order to cut an object to be cut such as a plate material, the base 11 is placed on the object to be cut and the switch 15 is operated to move the saw blade 7 in the direction shown by the arrow in FIG. By rotating the saw blade 7 and advancing the tool body 1 together with the rotation of the saw blade 7, the object to be cut is cut. When the motor 4 is overloaded during the cutting operation, the breaker 5 operates to prevent the battery voltage from being transmitted to the motor 4, thereby preventing the motor 4 and the battery 3 from burning.
Next, when continuing the cutting work, the cutting work is continued by operating the return button 6a which is the return operation unit 6 of the breaker 5 to return the breaker 5, but the operation of the return button 6a The battery 3 is removed from the battery mounting part 2 and a finger is put in the battery mounting part 2, and a finger is put in the opening 14 provided in the inner wall of the battery mounting part 2 and the reset button 6a is pushed to restore the breaker 5. . Here, even if the breaker 5 is restored, the motor 4 is not driven because the battery 3 has been removed from the battery mounting portion 2, and the saw blade 7 is turned on at the same time when the breaker 5 is re-closed. Is designed so that it will not rotate. Subsequently, the battery 3 is attached to the battery mounting portion 2 and the cutting operation is restarted.
