PURPOSE:To provide an air-driven type work chuck which conversely utilizes the centrifugal force, by providing a conventional wedge type 3-jaw work chuck with a weight-receiving base and balancing weights in order to eliminate the reduction in gripping force resulting from the centrifugal force in high-speed rotation. CONSTITUTION:Three jaw-receiving bases 2 and a gradient sleeve 5 are incorporated into a chuck main body 1. Next, three weight-receiving bases 3 and connection rods 4 are connected to their opposing jaw-receiving bases 2 by connection pins 6 respectively.
