Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow a wheelchair user to confirm the safety in the rear part and permit the viewing by raising a mirror in the traveling of an elevator. CONSTITUTION:A mirror for wheelchair user is slid by a guide 4a through a mirror raising/lowering driving device 1 for wheelchair user, pulley 1a which is directly connected to the driving device, and a rope 2 laid between them, and the mirror 4 lowers to open a door simultaneously with the arrival of an elevator by the pushing of a calling button for wheelchair or a destination floor button 7 for wheelchair.
