[Prior Art] As a burner for melting steel scrap, aluminum, copper, etc., a stable flame of about 2000 ° C. or more is required as a flame characteristic because of the required melting capacity.
However, the combustion speed of pulverized coal itself is much slower than gas fuels such as C 3 H 8 and CH 4 , as well as liquid fuels such as heavy oil, and the flame temperature is low. Therefore, when the temperature in the vicinity of the burner in the furnace is low, the radiant heat from the surroundings is also small, a stable flame cannot be obtained by combustion of only pulverized coal, and it may extinguish, so the conventional burner for the above purpose is LPG, Burners that use a gaseous fuel such as natural gas or a liquid fuel such as heavy oil as a fuel have been used, and when pulverized coal has been used as a fuel, a co-firing type burner with these fluid fuels has been used. However, in order to obtain a high-temperature stable flame, it is necessary to increase the mixing ratio of liquid fuel or gas fuel, so the usage ratio of pulverized coal, which is cheap, is reduced, and the energy cost is increased as a whole.

FIG. 2 shows an example of a burner of a mixed combustion type of pulverized coal and liquid fuel which has been conventionally used. This burner is composed of concentric circular cylinders with six end faces, and in order from the center to the outside, the center pipe is the liquid fuel supply conduit 31, the periphery of which is the combustion-supporting gas supply conduit for liquid fuel combustion 32, and the pulverized coal outside it. A supply conduit 33, a combustion-supporting gas supply conduit 34 around the supply conduit 33, and a cooling water jacket 35 outside the supply conduit 33. A liquid fuel spray nozzle 36 is attached to the tip of the liquid fuel supply conduit 31, and the liquid fuel supplied through the conduit 31 is ejected from the nozzle 36. At the tip of the liquid-fuel combustion combustion-supporting gas supply conduit 32, a liquid-fuel combustion combustion-supporting gas ejection nozzle forming ring 37 is formed.
Is attached, the combustion supporting gas for liquid fuel combustion is ejected from an annular ejection port 38 formed by the outer periphery of the liquid fuel spray nozzle 36 and the combustion supporting gas ejection nozzle forming ring 37, Mix to produce a primary flame. Reference numeral 39 denotes a main combustion chamber forming cylinder, and the cylinder 39 and the liquid fuel spray nozzle 36
Further, the main combustion chamber 40 is formed by the tip of the combustion-supporting gas supply conduit 32 for liquid fuel combustion and the tip of the pulverized coal supply conduit 33.
A pulverized coal ejection port 41 supplied by the pulverized coal supply conduit 33 is further opened on the rear surface of the main combustion chamber 40, and a part of the pulverized coal combustion-supporting gas is ejected to the outer periphery thereof. The jet port 42 is opened, and the pulverized coal and the combustion-supporting gas jetted from the jet ports 41, 42 are mixed and burned by being assisted by the primary flame of the liquid fuel to form a secondary flame. In front of the main combustion chamber 40, there is a sub-combustion chamber 43 formed in front of the combustion-supporting gas supply conduit 34 and the main combustion chamber 40, and the combustion-supporting gas ejected from the outer periphery of the main combustion chamber forming cylinder 39. The primary flame and the secondary flame are surrounded by the gas and completely burned. As described above, the conventional burner is a mixed burning system in which the flame of liquid fuel and the flame of fine powder are mixed together to form a combustion flame.

As described above, in a melting burner used in an electric furnace for melting steel scrap, an aluminum melting furnace, a copper reflex furnace, etc., even when used in a place where the temperature near the burner in the furnace is low, a stable flame at high temperature is obtained. There has never been a burner for forming fine powder, which has a sufficient melting ability. The present invention is a fine powder burner that can be sufficiently used for such applications, and uses only gas or liquid fuel for preheating the combustion-supporting gas, and the main combustion flame is pulverized coal flame. The purpose is to provide a burner for fuel.
