[Prior Art] In the live line construction of a transmission line or a distribution line, a wire in a floating state is usually gripped by an insulating rod having a gripping tool attached to the tip, and another tool is attached depending on the application. Work such as peeling, cutting and connecting with insulating rods. An insulating rod having a single collar or a cap attached at an appropriate place for use in the case of light rain is also known, and it is possible to temporarily block a thread-like water mark drawn by a water drop that descends along the rod. However, when the coverage is abnormally high, it is difficult to prevent the flashover due to the leakage current, and the operator may feel danger. If a solid insulator is inserted in a part of the rod, it will not be practical because of its weight.

[Means for Solving Problems] A plurality of caps, which are conventionally single, are provided, and an appropriate gap is provided between them as an insulation gap. The shade should be the same shape as the round shade for electric lights, thin, and made of silicon rubber and lightweight. Silicone rubber has a strong property of repelling water, and thread-like water drops in a ball-shaped discontinuity.

[Examples] The drawings will be described. The work rod 1 is made of an electrically insulating material having sufficient strength such as FRP. The shade 2 is composed of a cylindrical portion 2a and a shade portion 2b, and is made of silicone rubber. The cylindrical portion 2a has an inner diameter slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the work rod, and is tightly inserted into the work rod or bonded with an adhesive, and the cap 2 is screwed and fixed to the work rod one after another. An appropriate space is provided between the parts 2b. After the mounting bracket 3 is inserted into the top of the work rod, it is adhered with an adhesive agent, or each is provided with a screw and screwed and fixed. An electric wire gripping tool T, a peeling tool, or the like can be attached to this as required. A wrench hook 1a is provided at the lower end of the work bar so that a handle for a worker or a wrench can be attached. The grounding fitting 4 is cylindrical and is screwed onto a work rod below the plurality of caps to connect the grounding wire 5. However, grounding is not always necessary.

In the present invention configured as described above, since the plurality of shades respectively repel water, the leakage current due to the thread-like water marks is unlikely to occur. The multiple shades act in the same manner as the insulator series to prevent flashover. Since the shade is lightweight, it does not impose a burden on the operator. The inventor put twelve shades on a work rod with a total length of 2.7 m at intervals of 70 mm, tried several experiments in the rain, and obtained satisfactory results.

[効果] 雨のときでも好天時同様不安なく作業できる。[Effect] You can work without anxiety even in the rain, as in fine weather.
