常に煩雑な手間となる。特に多種類の書体(フォント)
の印字可能なワープロ専用機やワープロソフトの場合、
同じ種類で太さの違う書体(フォント)が印字可能とな
っている。(例:太明朝体・中明朝体・細明朝体など) 太さの異なる書体の選択は、通常その書体の大きさ(つ

は、それぞれの書体(フォント)のデザインによって、
あらかじめ設定する必要がある。あらかじめ設定する文
字サイズと書体(フォント)の対応の例としては、大ま
かな書体(フォント)として「ゴシック体」が使用者よ
り指定されている場合、9ポイント未満相当文字につい
ては「細ゴシック体」が、9ポイント以上13ポイント
