The lower surface 18a of the pressing portion 18 has a guide rail 12,
It is provided slightly below the height of the traveling path lower surfaces 12a, 14a of the printed circuit board 14 and therefore, when the printed circuit board 16 is inserted along the guide rails 12, 14,
Due to the lower surface 18a of the pressing portion 18, the printed circuit board 16 warps downward in a convex manner, and is fixed and held by its own elastic force at this time.

In addition, there is a problem in that the bending of the substrate causes stress in the soldered portion of the electronic component.

In addition, it is necessary to tighten screws to fix and hold the printed circuit board, which requires spacers and metal fittings, increasing the number of parts and increasing costs. Secondly, the spacer for receiving the tightening screw is required in a specific portion of the printed circuit board, so that electronic parts cannot be mounted in this portion and so-called dead space is generated. Thirdly, there is a problem in that a horizontal connector cannot be attached to the screw tightening portion due to the above space.

It is formed to be slightly smaller than the thickness. When the printed circuit board is inserted in this state, the chevron top is crushed by the insertion pressure at this time, and the printed circuit board is properly held between the ridge and the guide rail wall facing it along the direction orthogonal to the printed circuit board. It will be clamped and held by force. In addition, the substrate does not bend because it is a continuous line.

In the figure, guide rails 34, into which a plurality of printed circuit boards 32 are inserted and held, are provided on inner wall surfaces 30-1 and 30-2 of the housing 30 which face each other. The guide rails 34 are generally made of resin, and the housing 30 is made of a metal plate or resin. And the housing 30
When is made of a metal plate, the guide rail 34 is fixed by forming a mounting hole in its side wall, and when it is made of resin as in this embodiment, it is formed integrally with the housing 30.

And the lower guide 34b and the inner wall of the housing 30. The protrusions 36 are provided near the end of the lower guide 34b along the insertion direction of the printed circuit board 32. This ridge 3
6 is made of a resin such as polyacetal or polypropylene, and has a chevron cross section and has a plan view as shown in FIG. 2 (b). Then, the starting end portion thereof is formed in a sloping slope portion 36a along the insertion direction so that the printed circuit board 32 can be easily transferred. Top 3 of this ridge 36
The height of 6b can be constant along the longitudinal direction, or can be formed so as to gradually increase in the depth direction.

となる。In the embodiment of the present invention having the above construction, before inserting the printed circuit board, as shown in FIG. 3 (a), there is a gap t'between the lower surface of the upper guide 34a and the top 36b of the protrusion 36. However, when the printed circuit board 32 is inserted, as shown in FIG.
b is crushed, which causes the printed circuit board 32 to move to the upper guide 32a.
Thus, the ridge portion 36 and the ridge portion 36 are clamped and held with an appropriate elastic force.

No stress is generated in the soldered part, which is excellent in reliability, and does not cause problems such as poor contact. Further, since the guide rail is provided only with the ridge portion, the above effect can be achieved at low cost. Furthermore, since the elastic force of the printed circuit board itself is not used to fix the printed circuit board as in the conventional case, there is no fear that looseness will occur due to aging.
