Abstract

PURPOSE:To illuminate a defect of a conventional packing box that the packing box itself is made heavy in weight because of a geta-form (Japanese clog-form) pedestal with two supports made of wood and cannot be simply disposed of after use. CONSTITUTION:In a packing box 1, a seat plate 21 of a pedestal 2 and legs 22 corresponding to supports of a geta are formed by laminating corrugated fibreboards, a cushioning member 6 is attached on the pedestal 2, thereon an uninterruptive power supply 10 is placed, a box body 3 made of a corrugated fibreboard material, shaped into a box having an opening at the lower surface thereof, and provided with a cushioning member 4 attached on the inner surfaces thereof is put over the uninterruptive power supply 10, and the uninterruptive power supply 10 is packed by fastening the pedestal 2 and the box body 3 with a band. Since the pedestal 2 is made of corrugated fibreboards, the packing box is remarkably reduced in weight in comparison with a prior art and easily handled. In addition, since both the box body 3 and the pedestal 2 are made of corrugated fibreboards, the used packing box can be processed together and simply disposed of.

An uninterruptible power supply system comprising: a geta-shaped pedestal having at least two legs, and a box main body which covers an uninterruptible power supply unit mounted on the pedestal and is fixed to the pedestal.
