Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a core by relatively moving a punch in the direction axially vertical to a main body and punching a tube insert hole for the width of a small diameter part on the outer face side of a pipe. CONSTITUTION:Many large diameter parts 1 and small diameter pats 2 whose outer circumference is a circular shape with the same diameter are arranged alternately in the axial direction in a core so that rod-shaped core body is formed whose vertical cross section is arranged in a rectangular wavy shape. In the end part, a head part 13 is formed so as to be freely insertable to and removable from a pipe 4. The main body 3 is inserted freely removably to the pipe 4 for forming a tank matched with the larger diameter part 1. Then, a fixed die 7 is fitted to the outer circumference of the pipe 4. A punch 6 is freely movable attached to a punch insert hole 14 of the fixed die 7. The punch 6 matched with the width of the small diameter part 2 is relatively moved in the direction axially vertical to the main body 3, and a pipe insert hole 9 with nearly the width of the small diameter part 2 is punched out on the outer face side of the pipe 4. As a result, slugs are easily taken out by puling out the core main body from the pipe.

2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 4, a heat exchanger tank in which both ends of a pipe 4 are closed by a cover plate 12 (one of which is omitted) and a large number of tube insertion holes 9 are formed so as to be separated from each other in the longitudinal direction. A pair (one of which is omitted) is provided, both ends of the flat tube 10 are inserted into the respective tube insertion holes 9, and the insertion portions are fixed by brazing or soldering.
A heat exchanger is known in which a corrugated or plate type fin 11 is fixedly contacted to the outer surface of the heat exchanger 10. In this type of heat exchanger, the heat exchange medium is circulated from one heat exchanger tank through the inside of each tube 10 to the other heat exchanger tank, and an air flow or the like is applied to the outer surfaces of the tubes 10 and the fins 11. The heat exchange medium is exchanged between the heat exchange medium and the heat exchange medium inside. In order to punch out a large number of tube insertion holes 9 in parallel with the pipe 4 as shown in FIG. 4, the core inserted into the pipe 4 is used as a punching die, and a convex punch from the outer surface side of the pipe 4 is used. Was relatively moved to form the tube insertion hole 9.

Therefore, the present invention has the following constitution in order to solve the above problems. In the core for manufacturing a heat exchanger tank of the present invention, a large number of large-diameter portions 1 and small-diameter portions 2 each having a circular outer periphery are alternately arranged at regular intervals in the axial direction, and they have a rectangular wave shape in a longitudinal section. The rod-shaped core main body 3 is arranged, and the main body 3 is removably inserted into a tank forming pipe 4 aligned with the large diameter portion 1, and the small diameter portion 2
, The punch 6 matching the width of the small diameter portion 2 is relatively moved with respect to the main body 3 in the direction perpendicular to the axis thereof so that the tube insertion hole 9 having the width of the small diameter portion 2 is punched out on the outer surface side of the pipe 4. It is composed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of a core for manufacturing a heat exchanger tank according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 2 is a schematic perspective view of a core for manufacturing a tank according to the present invention, FIG. 1 is an explanatory view showing its use state, and FIG. 3 is a sectional view taken along the line AA of FIG. In the core of this embodiment, a large number of large-diameter portions 1 and small-diameter portions 2 each having a circular outer circumference are alternately arranged at regular intervals in the axial direction, whereby the longitudinal section is arranged in a rectangular wave shape. The rod-shaped core body 3 is formed. A head 13 for inserting and removing the pipe 4 is formed at the end thereof. The width of the small diameter portion 2 substantially matches that of the tube insertion holes 9 in FIG. 4, and the pitch of the small diameter portions 2 is equal to the arrangement pitch of the tube insertion holes 9. The outer diameter of the large diameter portion 1 is substantially equal to the inner diameter of the pipe 4 in FIG.

Next, a pipe 4 is axially inserted into and removed from the outer periphery of the core body 3 thus formed, as shown in FIGS. Then, in the inserted state, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, a fixed mold 7 is fitted on the outer circumference of the pipe 4. A punch insertion hole 14 is formed in advance in the fixed mold 7, and the punch 6 is movably mounted in the punch insertion hole 14. Then, the punch 6 is fixed to the movable mold 8, and the movable mold 8 relatively moves in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the core body 3. Then, the tip of the punch 6 penetrates the pipe 4 and enters into the core body 3, and accordingly, the slenderly punched sludge 15 is pushed into the outer periphery of the small diameter portion 2. In order to form a large number of tube insertion holes 9 in the pipe 4 at the same time, a large number of punches 6 can be fixed to the movable mold 8 in advance, and the outer surface of the pipe 4 can be punched at the same time.
Alternatively, if the punching operation is performed while moving the relative position between the movable mold 8 and the core body 3 in the axial direction of the core body 3, one punch 6 can successively form a large number of tube insertion holes 9. Is possible.

In this way, the core body 3 inserted therein is pulled out from the pipe 4 having the required number of tube insertion holes 9 formed therein. Then, accordingly, the scrap 15 held in the small diameter portion 2 falls due to its own weight.
At both ends of the pipe 4 thus formed, a cover plate 12 (one of which is omitted) is fixed by brazing or soldering and closed as shown in FIG. Then, the ends of the tubes 10 are inserted through the respective tube insertion holes 9, and the inserted portions are fixed in a liquid-tight manner by soldering or brazing. A plate type or corrugated type fin 11 is fixed in contact with the outer surface of the tube 10.

According to the core for manufacturing a tank of the present invention, by inserting it into the pipe 4 for tank molding,
The tube insertion hole 9 can be easily punched out by moving the punch 6 relative to the core body 3 from the outer surface side. Moreover, this core is easy to manufacture. That is,
Since this core is formed on the rotating body with respect to the axis,
It can be easily manufactured with a lathe or the like. Further, the scraps generated by punching can be easily taken out by pulling out the core body 3 from the pipe 4.
