An animal parturition alarm device, comprising a probe having a temperature sensor inserted into the vagina of the animal, the probe being provided in the animal and ejecting out of the vagina prior to the fetus at the time of parturition. Accordingly, it has a transmitting unit that detects a temperature change and wirelessly transmits a transmission signal, and a receiving unit that is provided at a location distant from the animal and that receives the transmission signal and outputs an alarm signal indicating that the baby is delivered. A labor alarm device characterized by the above.
