Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a smooth and strong film and stiffening the whole by burying reinforcing metal pieces by extrusion-molding the synthetic resin of a weather- strip main body and the synthetic resin of a thin protection film simultaneously In use of two extrusion-molding machines, and burying reinforcing metal pieces in the inner part of a vertical support piece of the strip main body at the same time of extrusion molding. CONSTITUTION:Polyolefine resin of a weather-strip main body 1 or synthetic resin of Its foamed body, and mixed synthetic resin of protective films 6, 6 and protective films 7, 7 are simultaneously extruded by the use of two extrusion molding machines to be passed through the inner part of one mold dies for superimposing both of them, so that a rough surface part such as unevenness or the like generated by heat is formed easily on the surface of the protective films 6, 6 and 7, 7. Besides, for the reinforcing metal piece 5, constitution materials are employed such as iron plate, aluminum, stainless. In addition, for a base material of synthetic resin for forming the protective films 6, 6 and 7, 7, a low viscosity polyethylene is used, having a melt flow rate of at least 0.5g/10min. 2. Description of the Related Art Generally, this type of weather strip, which is brought into pressure contact with a vertically moving door glass window of an automobile or the like, requires smooth and comfortable opening / closing operation of the door glass window and is required to maintain watertightness. It is necessary to withstand the time and achieve the purpose without damage. Therefore, in this type of weather strip, the thin protective film of the pressure contact piece with which the ascending / descending door glass window comes into contact is shown in FIG. 3 with a coating of synthetic resin such as urethane type or a fiber of nylon or the like. As shown, it is currently in general use. However,
The above-mentioned conventional weather strip where the thin protective film of the pressure contact piece of the seal portion is coated with a synthetic resin paint such as a urethane-based one has a drawback that friction resistance increases and does not operate smoothly,
Since it requires a coating material and a coating process, it has the drawback of being expensive and complicated. Further, there is a drawback that it is very difficult to adjust the thickness of the thin protective film. In addition, the thermoplastic elastomer foam is easily scratched even with a small amount of rubbing,
Rough skin easily occurs due to solvents such as white gasoline,
There were also problems such as tears.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the weather strip body of the present invention is formed by a polyolefin synthetic resin or a synthetic resin of its foam in the longitudinal direction, and the weather strip main body is provided in contact with a door glass window. Each facing glass pressure piece is formed. The thin protective film deposited on the contact surface of the door glass press contact portion has a low friction resistance, a chemical resistance, a low viscosity and a high fluidity of the polyolefin base resin base material having a higher viscosity and a higher viscosity than the base material. With a synthetic resin mixed with various small or large powders or particles having low fluidity, the synthetic resin of the weather strip body and the synthetic resin of the thin protective film are simultaneously extruded by two extrusion molding machines, The purpose is to embed the reinforcing metal piece inside the vertical support piece of the weather strip body at the same time as extrusion molding.

As described above, the molded weather strip body (1) of the present invention is prepared by charging the thermoplastic elastomer made of polyolefin resin or its foam into one extrusion molding machine. Next, a low-viscosity, high-fluidity polyolefin synthetic resin that forms a thin protective film is used as a base material, and a high-viscosity, low-fluidity polyolefin-based additive material consisting of powders and particles of various sizes is mixed with this base material. The synthetic resin thus prepared is put into another extrusion molding machine, and extrusion molding is simultaneously carried out using two extrusion molding machines, and extrusion polymerization is carried out inside one die. At this time, the polyolefin resin of the weather strip body and the low viscosity polyolefin synthetic resin of the base material of the thin protective film are
Since they are compatible, they are integrally and strongly polymerized. Furthermore, various types of powders or particles of high-viscosity polyolefin synthetic resin having a high viscosity as an additive for the thin protective film have high viscosity and low fluidity, so that a rough surface portion having fine irregularities can be formed on the surface. High-viscosity polyolefin synthetic resin has high viscosity and low fluidity, so it does not have high fluidity like the base material even in the molten state, and the shape of powder or particles is maintained to some extent. Extrusion molding is performed to form a rough surface portion having fine irregularities on the surface.

According to the weather strip of the present invention, since a thin protective film having a small frictional resistance is firmly adhered and polymerized on a portion of the door glass window to be lifted and lowered, it is possible to open and close the door glass window to be lifted and lowered. Excellent effect that can be smoothly and lightly,
As in the past, unlike the case where a synthetic resin paint or a synthetic resin tape is adhered, there is no fear of being easily worn or peeled off, and there is an effect that it can be used in a strongly bonded state for a long period of time. Further, this weather strip has the effect of being firmly and stably attached to the door panel. And
Polyolefin resin, which is a constituent material of the weather strip body, and low viscosity and high fluidity polyolefin resin, which is a base material of the thin protective film with small frictional resistance, which is polymerized on the glass bonding surface of the door-glass window that contacts. Since they are compatible with each other, they have a convenient effect that they can be firmly adhered integrally by heat and pressure during extrusion molding and that the thickness of the thin protective film can be freely adjusted. Further, the synthetic resin of the thin protective film is a synthetic resin in which a polyolefin resin composed of various small or large powders or particles of high viscosity or low fluidity is mixed with a base material of a low viscosity and high fluidity polyolefin resin. By the heat and pressure during extrusion, there is an effect that a rough surface portion having fine unevenness and less friction and watertightness can be reliably formed on the surface of the thin protective film. In addition, the rough surface portion having fine irregularities has an effect which has not been available in the past, that the joining and opening / closing operation of the door glass window for raising and lowering of each vehicle and the like becomes very smooth and light. Furthermore, by embedding a reinforcing metal piece inside the mounting part of the vertical support piece of the weather strip main body at the same time as molding, it strengthens the weather strip main body and it is stably attached to the door panel, and is resistant to use and vibration. Also, there is an effect that it can be safely fixed and used for a long period of time without being deformed. Further, this weather strip has an excellent effect that the specific gravity becomes remarkably lighter than that of a rubber product and the weather strip can be recycled.
