Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a weather strip for sealing a door glass of a vehicle of this kind repeats up and down a number of times, and it is necessary to smoothly open and close an up and down window glass. Further, it is necessary to maintain hermeticity, and further, it is necessary to have an aesthetic appearance over a long period of time. Therefore, this type of weather strip is made of a synthetic rubber or a thermoplastic elastomer made of a material capable of reducing the weight of a press-contact portion to which the elevating door glass is pressed, which has flexibility, elasticity and cushioning property. Fine hair such as nylon or polyester is implanted on the surface that comes into contact with the glass, or a coating of a dissolved synthetic resin such as urethane or nylon is applied. However, the surface of other weather strip is not subjected to any surface treatment. Is generally known to be used without being implemented.

In addition, the portion exposed on the outer surface of the weather strip made of the thermoplastic elastomer or its foam is easily damaged by light rubbing, and is roughened by a solvent or a chemical such as aromatic kerosene or white gasoline. There were many problems such as occurrence. The present invention has been made in view of the problems of the conventional technology, and an object thereof is to integrally extrude a thin coating for reinforcement on a surface exposed during use of a weatherstrip. Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method for forming a weatherstrip which is excellent in appearance by preventing damage over a long period of time.

Extrusion molding is performed on the glass pressure-welded portion, the vehicle body panel, and the attachment portion to be mounted on the door panel. A thin coating made of a polyolefin-based synthetic resin having excellent abrasion resistance and chemical resistance was fused to each surface exposed when the weatherstrip was mounted while simultaneously extruding the weatherstrip body. This is a molding method in which the exposed surface is strongly reinforced by integrally coating and molding in the state.

A vehicle body panel (7) and an area near a door panel (8) located on the outer periphery of an elevator door glass (6) in various vehicles (10) such as automobiles. Weather strip body to be mounted (1)
Is composed of a thermoplastic elastomer of a polyolefin resin or a foamed synthetic resin body thereof. In the weatherstrip body (1), various shapes of glass press-contact portions (3) are formed at portions that press the lift-door glass (6), and the body panel (7) and the door panel (8) are respectively provided on the body strip (8). A long member is formed by extruding attachment portions of various shapes to be attached . Next, a synthetic resin of a polyolefin resin, which is extremely resistant to abrasion resistance and chemical resistance with respect to a surface used and exposed to an external surface at a position where the weather strip main body (1) is mounted, is used. Becomes 0.0
A thin film (5) of 5 mm or less is extruded with another extruder at the same time as the extrusion of the weatherstrip body (1), and then extruded from the inside of one die to form a film layer integrally on the surface. Things. Code (4)
Denotes a tape or a flocking provided on the contact surface of the elevating door glass (6), and (9) denotes a support sash for mounting the vehicle body panel (7).

m, a polyolefin-based high-molecular polyethylene forming a thin film (5) or less is charged into another extruder, and extruded simultaneously using two extruders. Polymerizes. At this time, since the synthetic resins are compatible with each other, the surface and the whole are integrally fused by heat and pressure at the time of extrusion molding, thereby toughening. In addition, the thickness of the thin film (5) is 0.05 mm.
The thickness can be adjusted to the following appropriate thickness. The thickness of the thin film (5) is most preferably 0.05 mm or less, and not more than 0.05 mm. The specific gravity of the polyolefin-based thermoplastic elastomer is 0.88, and the specific gravity of the rubber is about 30% to 40% lighter than that of 1.25.

By molding the polyolefin resin into a thin film with a thickness of 0.05 mm or less, the surface is very good in appearance and prevents scratches, and no cuts are made.
It has the advantage of maintaining the luster for a long period of time and improving the quality, and has the effect of preventing the solvent such as aromatic kerosene and white gasoline from being attacked by the chemicals and roughening the skin. Also,
Since the thermoplastic elastomer of the weatherstrip body and the polyolefin resin forming the thin film are mutually compatible, they are simultaneously extruded, so that the whole is integrally fused by heat and pressure during the extrusion. There is also an effect of toughening. Then, for the two extruders, the extruder for the weather strip and the extruders for forming the thin film, the synthetic resin material can be appropriately selected. In addition, the material extruded from each extruder was inserted through one mold die and pressure-bonded, so it was significantly tougher than the one with the conventional synthetic resin paint and flocking attached, and the thin film was strongly There is an effect of being integrated. Further, there is also a convenient effect that the thickness of the thin film can be freely adjusted to an appropriate thickness of 0.05 mm or less.
