2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, there has been used a so-called centering rod of a type in which a fishing rod main body is formed of a tubular body having a hollow portion, and a fishing line is passed through the hollow portion. This middle fishing rod has less entanglement of the fishing line with the guide and is excellent in operability of the fishing rod as compared with a normal fishing rod in which a guide for passing the fishing line is provided on the outside of the fishing rod body.

However, in the case of a hollow fishing rod, when the fishing line put in water is wound up, the fishing line brings water droplets to the hollow portion of the fishing rod body, and the water droplets adhere to the inner wall of the fishing rod body. When the fishing line is inserted into the fishing rod body while water droplets are attached to the inner wall surface of the fishing rod body, the resistance of the water droplets adhering to the inner wall surface prevents the fishing line from smoothly passing through the fishing rod body. There is a problem that the operability of is deteriorated.

In order to solve such a problem, a hollow rod having a resin layer containing fluororesin particles on the inner wall surface of a fishing rod main body, which is a tubular body, has been developed in the past (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. Hei 5 (1993) -58)
268858). This centering rod improves the water repellency of the inner wall surface of the fishing rod body to prevent water droplets from adhering to the inner wall surface.

However, in the hollow rod having the above-mentioned resin layer, the water repellency of the inner wall surface is improved, so that the attached water droplets are easily moved, but the water droplets are not completely removed. Instead, they will remain scattered on the inner wall. At this time, the contact angle between the inner wall surface and water is in the range of about 90 ° to 110 °. When the fishing line is inserted into the fishing rod body with the water droplets scattered on the inner wall as described above, the resistance due to the water droplets is not necessarily smaller than that when the resin layer is not provided. For this reason, with the hollow fishing rod having the resin layer, the fishing line cannot be smoothly inserted into the fishing rod main body.

The thickness of the superhydrophobic layer of the tubular body in the fishing rod according to the first invention is preferably as thick as possible in consideration of wear resistance, but is preferably 10 to several hundreds of μm.
If the thickness of the superhydrophobic layer of the tubular body is less than 10 μm, the superhydrophobic effect is not sufficiently exerted. On the other hand, the thickness of the super water-repellent layer in the fishing line according to the second invention is preferably 1 to several μm. This is because the thickness of the superhydrophobic layer of the fishing line is 1
If it is less than μm, it does not exert a sufficient super water-repellent effect,
This is because the weight of the fishing line increases at the m level.

FIG. 2 is an enlarged sectional view of the portion A of the tip rod 10 shown in FIG. Reference numeral 20 in the figure denotes a tubular body that is the main body of the tip rod. A super water repellent layer 21, which is a super water repellent layer, is formed on the inner wall surface of the tubular body 20. The super water-repellent layer 21 is formed by a dispersion plating method using a plating solution in which nickel is used as a base material and graphite fluoride particles are dispersed therein. The configuration shown in FIG. 2 is common not only to the tip rod 10 but also to the region on the smaller diameter side of the fishing line introduction guide 14 in the middle rod 12 and the main rod 13. In addition,
In this super water-repellent layer 21, it was confirmed that the water droplets were in the form of beads and were able to move easily, and that the super water repellency was exhibited.

In the hollow rod having such a structure, in the super water-repellent layer on the inner wall surface of the tubular body, the water droplets brought into the tubular body by the fishing line easily become a ball shape, and the water droplets are formed outside the tubular body. To be removed. For this reason, almost no water droplets exist inside the tubular body, the resistance caused by the water droplets disappears, and the fishing line can be smoothly inserted. As a result, the fishing line can be smoothly inserted into the fishing rod, and the operability of the fishing rod is improved.

The reason why the resistance of the fishing line increases when water droplets are present in the tubular body is considered as follows. When the fishing line passes through scattered water droplets, the fishing line receives resistance as it passes through the air-water interface (33 in FIG. 3). When water droplets are scattered, the number of times the fishing line passes through the interface between air and water increases, and as a result, the resistance that the fishing line receives increases. (Comparative Example) For comparison, a hollow rod having the same configuration as that of the example was prepared, except that the super water-repellent layer was not formed on the inner wall surfaces of the tubular bodies of the tip rod, the middle rod, and the base rod. In this hollow fishing rod, as shown in FIG. 3, the water droplet 31a attached to the inner wall surface of the tubular body 30 and the water droplet 31b attached to the fishing line 32 are attracted to each other by the surface tension.
Becomes adsorbed in the water droplets. Therefore, when the fishing line moves, it moves while pulling the water droplets, which increases the resistance received by the fishing line. As described above, since this fishing rod has a large resistance to the fishing line, the operability is poor.
