CONSTITUTION:A hot water heater is comprised of an indoor device 1 for supplying hot air into a room and an outdoor device 2 for generating hot water. There are provided within a casing 3 of the indoor device 1 a heat exchanger 4 with hot water being applied as a heat source, a blower 5 for feeding out hot air into a doom, and a flow rate control valve 8 for adjusting an amount of feeding water for the heat exchanger 4. The flow rate control valve 8 is provided with an angle sensor 11 for use in sensing in a stepwise manner a rotating angle of the flow rate control valve 8.
