本発明はファンコンベクタと呼ばれる温水暖房機の室内機の構成に関する。

【従来の技術】
温水暖房機には例えば図3に示すようなファンコンベクタと呼ばれる室内機21と、油だき温水ボイラと呼ばれ、前記室内機21の熱源機として利用される室外機22とからなるものがある。室内機21は室外機22からの温水を熱源とする熱交換器23と、この熱交換器23で暖められた空気を室内へ送出する送風機24とで構成され、一方の室外機22は温水を生成するボイラ25と、温水を蓄えるシスタンク26と、温水を循環させるポンプ27等で構成され、室外機22と室内機21間は温水の往き管28と戻り管29とで結ばれている。また、室内機21側には送風機24等を制御する制御部30を備えた運転操作部31が有り、室外機22側にはボイラ25,ポンプ27等を制御する制御部32が有り、両制御部は図示されてない信号線で結ばれている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上述の室内機21は一般に壁寄りの床面に設置され室外機22との間が配管接続されるため、石油ストーブやファンヒータ等に比べれば転倒事故を起こす可能性は低い。そのためか、従来の室内機21には石油ストーブやファンヒータ等に設けられているような事故防止対策(例えば、電源遮断装置等)は無く、室内機21が傾斜したり転倒した状態でも送風機24の運転は停止されず、熱交換器23には温水が流れっぱなしになる。しかしながら、室内機21側の配管の接続位置は筐体の後方下部にあるため、筐体の上部は動き易く、もし、筐体と壁との間で転倒防止策がなされてない場合には子供が引っ張ったり、大きな地震が発生した時などに転倒する恐れがあり、運転中であれば吹出口からの温風が床面に直接当たるようになり、床面の温度が異常に上昇するなどの不具合が発生する。したがって、本発明においては、このような不具合を発生させることのない、より安全な温水暖房機の室内機を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記の課題を解決するためになされたものであり、筐体内に温水を熱源とする熱交換器と、同熱交換器で暖められた空気を室内に送出する送風機と、同送風機等を制御する制御部とを備えたものにおいて、前記筐体に、同筐体が傾斜乃至は転倒すると作動する転倒検出手段を設けるとともに、前記熱交換器の温水経路に開閉弁を設け、前記筐体が傾斜乃至は転倒した時、前記熱交換器への温水を遮断するようにした。

上記の構成であれば、運転中に例えば地震が発生して筐体が傾斜してしまったような時、転倒検出手段が作動し、これを検知した制御部が開閉弁を制御して熱交換器への温水を遮断することができ、異常運転を防止できる。

【実施例】
以下、本発明の一実施例を図1〜図2に基づいて説明する。図1は温水暖房機の室内機の概略構成を表したもので、1は後方上部に室内空気の吸込口2を、前方下部に温風の吹出口3を有する筐体である。この筐体1の内部には従来の技術の項で説明したような室外機からの温水を熱源とする熱交換器4と、この熱交換器4で暖められた空気を室内へ送出する送風機5と、同送風機5等を制御する室内機制御部6とが有り、熱交換器4の入口側の温水管(往き管)7には開閉弁8が設けられ、出口側の温水管(戻り管)9には図示はされてないが熱交換器4から室外機に戻る温水の温度を検出する温度センサが設けられている。また、筐体1の前面上部には運転操作部10が、背面下部には図示はされてないが室内温度を検出する温度センサが有り、底部には筐体1が地震などにより傾斜したり転倒したりして床面11との間に隙間ができた時に作動する転倒検出手段(スイッチ)12が設けられている。

図2は温水暖房機の制御系の概略を表したもので、室内機制御部6には運転操作部10で設定された室温や風量に関する情報と、温度センサにより検出された温水温度に関する情報、室内温度に関する情報等が入力され、室内機制御部6ではこれらの入力情報を基に送風機5を制御すると共に、室外機制御部との情報交換を行うようになっている。ところで、本発明の特徴とするところは、先に説明した開閉弁8と転倒検出手段12を室内機に設け、この転倒検出手段の動作を室内機制御部(マイクロコンピュータ)6により検知させるようにし、筐体1が地震や子供の悪戯などで傾いた時に送風機駆動手段13および開閉弁駆動手段14を制御して送風機5の運転を停止させると共に、開閉弁8を切換えて熱交換器4への温水の流れを遮断し、更に、室外機制御部15に所定の信号を送り、室外機(熱源機)の運転を停止させるようにしたことである。なお、本実施例では以上説明したような手段により、温水の流れを遮断したり送風機5の運転を停止させたりするようになっているが、このような手段に限定するものではなく、転倒検出手段12は一種のスイッチでもあるので例えば室内機の電源回路あるいは室内機制御部6の電源回路に直列に設けて電源を遮断するようにしてもよい。

【発明の効果】
以上、説明したような温水暖房機であるならば、地震や子供の悪戯で室内機が転倒するようなことがあっても、その時は速やかに温水経路が遮断されると共に、送風機等の運転が停止されるので、筐体内部や床面が過熱状態になるようなこともなく、より安全な暖房システムとなる。
