The round tube 3 attached to the branch line 2 is
As shown in FIG. 7 (A), the terminal 6 is passed through from the tip end side and covered up to a position reaching the main line 1. At that time, since the terminal 6 attached to each electric wire W is larger than the electric wire W, the round tube 3 to be put through the terminal 6 must have an inner diameter larger than the sum of the diameters of the plural electric wires W to be passed inside. In order to smoothly pass the electric wire group, a material is used in which a gap is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the round tube 3 and the electric wire group. The length of the round tube 3 is set so that the tip 3a of the round tube 3 is located at a required distance S from the terminal 6. As shown in FIG. 7B, the spacing S is necessary for gripping the electric wire W when the terminal 6 is inserted into the connector 7 later, and the terminal 6 is dispersed in the terminal accommodating chamber of the connector 7. It is necessary for the insertion of the round tube, and the tip of the round tube cannot be positioned up to the position where it abuts the connecting portion with the connector.

As is apparent from the above description, when the waterproof structure of the wire harness according to claim 1 of the present invention is adopted, even if the waterproof sheet is wound around the electric wire with a gap from the terminal mounting portion, Since the butyl-based adhesive stuck to the tip side does not cause a gap between the electric wire and the waterproof sheet, it is possible to prevent water from being generated from the tip of the waterproof sheet into the waterproof sheet. In addition, since the waterproof sheet has its end edges adhered to each other along the length direction of the electric wire with a butyl-based adhesive, no water will be generated from the winding end of the waterproof sheet.

As described above, even if the waterproof sheet is attached to the terminal mounting portion of the electric wire with a space provided therebetween, the occurrence of water intrusion can be surely prevented, and thus the tip of the electric wire with the electric wire protruding from the waterproof sheet. The terminal attached to can be inserted into the connector with good workability and attached. Further, the work of winding the electric wire around the waterproof sheet is easier and the workability is better than the work of passing the electric wire through the conventional round tube.

Further, as described in claim 2 of the present invention, when the waterproof sheets are stuck together with the electric wire sandwiched therebetween, the waterproof sheets are pressed so as to be bonded to each other,
The butyl adhesive adhered to the inner surface of the sheet can be firmly adhered to each other, and can be adhered to the outer peripheral surface of the wire without any gap while keeping the cross-sectional area small, and the butyl adhesive can be applied to the gap between adjacent wires. Adhesive can be filled without gaps.

Further, as described in claim 3, when the waterproof sheet is wound around the branch line branching from the main line of the wire harness to form a waterproof structure, the water leakage that has conventionally occurred from the connector mounting portion at the tip of the branch line. Can be reliably prevented. In particular, if all the branch lines constituting the wire harness have the waterproof structure, the entire wire harness can have the waterproof structure. In particular, if the above waterproof structure is applied to a branch line of a wire harness that runs from the inside of the engine room of an automobile to the inside of the vehicle through the upper part of the tire house, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of water intrusion from the connector mounting portion at the end of the branch line. It is possible to prevent problems such as the water that has entered due to the negative pressure generated inside the vehicle interior being transmitted to the inside of the vehicle interior, causing corrosion in the connector inside the vehicle interior, and dripping water into the vehicle interior.
Further, since the intrusion of water from the branch line is reliably prevented, even if there is a non-waterproof splice portion on the main line portion, it is possible to prevent the problem that the terminals of the splice portion are corroded.

Further, as described in claim 4,
When a rectangular insulating resin sheet made of vinyl, polyethylene, or polypropylene is used as the waterproof sheet, it can be attached to the electric wire without waste and with good workability. Further, if the butyl-based adhesive is attached in advance along one side that is wound around the terminal side of the waterproof sheet and one side that is orthogonal to the side, it is possible to achieve reliable waterproofing with the minimum necessary. This has an advantage that the cross-sectional area of the structured wire harness can be prevented from increasing.
