2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a method of delivering a work between a pallet on which a work such as a lens is placed and which is conveyed by a conveyor, and a conveyance head which adsorbs and conveys the work,
Generally, the methods shown in FIGS. 4 to 5 are known. This method will be described with reference to the drawings. A transfer head 5 that transfers a pallet 1 having a work setting part 2 for setting the work L to a predetermined position by a conveyor 3 and fixes it by a fixing means 4 to suck and transfer the work L. Is moved onto the pallet 1 and the work L is sucked from the work stationary portion 2 of the pallet 1 to the suction portion 6 of the transport head 5 by vacuum, or conversely, the work L of the pallet 1 is stationary from the suction portion 6 of the transport head 5. The work L was transferred between the two by releasing the vacuum in the part 2 and placing it in place.

However, in the above method, when the work L is delivered, the suction part 6 of the transfer head 5 and the work stationary part 2 of the pallet 1 are not located on substantially the same axis. When the head 5 sucks the work L from the pallet 1, the suction unit 6 of the transport head 5 and the work L
There is a gap between the suction target surface and the suction target surface of the work L
Is not adsorbed on the same axis, the work L is not delivered normally at the carrying destination of the carrying head 5.
Conversely, when the work L is transferred from the transport head 5 to the pallet 1,
The work L is placed at a position deviated from the work stationary portion 2 of the pallet 1 and causes a suction error in the next process, resulting in a conveyance error due to a position shift of the work L.

For the above reason, the suction portion 6 of the transport head 5
Since it was necessary to adjust the mutual positions so that the work stationary parts 2 of the pallet 1 were located on substantially the same axis, a lot of time was spent in the setup. Further, even if the mutual positions are adjusted, the positional deviation of the devices used may occur and the readjustment may be required, which causes a decrease in the production efficiency of the work L.

Further, in the case of delivering a light work such as a small-diameter lens, when the work L is delivered from the carrying head 5 to the pallet 1, the work L is lightweight, so that the vacuum can be released immediately from the suction portion 6 of the carrying head 5. There were times when I couldn't leave. Therefore, a method has been proposed in which the air is ejected from the suction portion 6 and is forcibly released. However, when the force of the ejected air is too strong, the air becomes a turbulent flow and the work L is normally placed on the work stationary portion 2 of the pallet 1. There was a problem that it was not discharged in the state and the position was displaced or it was turned over.
Further, a method of forcibly sucking the work L from the pallet 1 side to the work stationary part 2 by vacuum (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-28577).
5) was proposed, but this method had a problem that the configuration of the device was complicated.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a guide having a taper at the tip coaxially with the suction portion outside the suction portion of the transport head that suctions and transports the workpiece. A pallet is formed on the conveyor, and a fitting hole for fitting the guide portion is provided on the outside of the stationary portion on which the workpiece is placed and on which the pallet is conveyed by the conveyor. The work is delivered in a state where the guide portion of the transport head is fitted into the fitting hole of the pallet without being fixed.

Further, when the work is transferred from the transfer head to the pallet, the work is forcibly moved from the suction part of the transfer head to the work setting part of the pallet by ejecting air at a slight speed until the work is separated. It is possible to keep the work stationary and prevent the work from being displaced when the transport head is raised.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 and 2 are a sectional view and a plan view of an embodiment of the present invention. The transport head 5 has a suction portion 6 formed at its lower end with a sealing material such as rubber, and a guide portion 8 having a taper 7 at its tip on the outside thereof is formed coaxially with the suction portion 6. An air introduction path 9 having one end connected to a vacuum / compressed air generating means (not shown) passes through the core. The transport head 5 can be moved to an arbitrary position by moving means (not shown).

The pallet 1 has a work setting part 2 into which the outer diameter of the work for setting the work L on the pallet is fitted, and a fitting hole 10 for fitting the guide part 8 of the carrying head 5 to the outside thereof. Are formed. Work station 2
An exhaust groove 11 for injecting air reaching the outer periphery is provided on the outer side of the inclining portion from the outer side of the work stationary portion 2.

Next, a case where the work L is transferred from the pallet 1 to the transfer head 5 will be described. The pallet 1 on which the work L is placed is conveyed by the conveyor 3 and stopped at a predetermined position. At this time, the pallet 1 is not fixed on the conveyor 3 but simply placed. Next, the suction unit 6 moves the transport head 5 that has moved upwards or is on standby on the pallet 1
Move downward until it touches. Accordingly, in the pallet 1, the guide portion 8 of the transport head 5 has the insertion hole 10 of the pallet 1.
The guide part 8 and the suction part 6 and the fitting hole 10 and the work setting part 2 are formed coaxially, respectively, so that the suction part 6 and the work setting part 2 can be inserted. It is automatically positioned to be on the same axis. As a result, the suction unit 6 of the transport head 5 can always suck the work L on the same axis.

Next, a case where the work L is transferred from the transport head 5 to the pallet 1 will be described. The transport head 5 that has suctioned and transported the work L is moved to above the pallet 1 and to the below. Then, as described above, the pallet 1 is guided so that the guide portion 8 of the transport head 5 is fitted into the fitting hole 10 of the pallet 1 and moves on the conveyor 3, and the suction portion 6 and the work stationary portion 2 are on the same axis. Positioned to be on the line. Thereby, the work L is accurately guided to the work stationary section 2.

In this state, the conveying head 5 is slightly spun up while ejecting air until it is separated from the work L. As a result, even when the work L comes into close contact with the suction unit 6 and is difficult to separate, the work L is forcibly separated by the jetted air and pressed against the work stationary unit 2, and the work head 5 is moved up at a slight speed, so that the work L is lifted. It comes into close contact with the contact surface of the work placement part 2 and makes it difficult to lift up,
There is a time allowance for easy separation from the suction unit 6.

Further, since the exhaust groove 11 is provided so as to incline downward from the outside of the work stationary part 2 and reach the outer periphery, the suction part 6 and the work L when the work L is discharged.
The air blown out from the gap is discharged to the outside while tilting downward along the exhaust groove 11 after pressing the work L downward. At this time, since the exhaust groove 11 is not connected to the work stationary part 2, air does not wrap around the work L to lift the work L, and conversely the exhaust groove inclines downward and reaches the outer periphery. Therefore, the jetted air is discharged to the outside without generating a turbulent flow while pressing the work L downward, and the work L is less likely to be displaced due to being pressed against the work stationary part 2. Further, the grinding liquid and the like attached to the work L are also discharged to the outside along the groove 11 without staying on the pallet 1.

As described above, according to the present description, positioning of the transfer head and the pallet at the time of delivery of the work can be performed automatically in a simple and reliable manner, and the work is prevented from being displaced. You can As a result, it is possible to prevent a suction error of a work on conveyance and also to easily transfer a light work such as a small-diameter lens.
