Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of crack or peel-off by abutting an abutting surface of a half sliding bearing having a back plate and a lining member to the opposite abutting surface, and projecting a radial outer portion of the abutting surface in a circumferential direction compared to an inner portion. じるのを防止できるすべり軸受装置を提供するものであ

半割りすべり軸受1が円周方向に圧縮されるようにな
り、それによって突合せ面4に圧縮応力が作用するよう
になる。しかるに上記突合せ面4は、上述したように半
径方向外方が内方よりも円周方向に突出するように斜め
に切断してあるので、突合せ面4の半径方向外方部分の
応力が内方部分の応力よりも大きくなる。その結果、半
径方向外方の応力は強度の大きい裏金2で受けられるよ
うになり、強度の小さいライニング材3に過度の応力が
加わることが防止されて、ライニング材3自体やライニ
ング材3と裏金2との界面に疲労によるクラックや剥離
が生じることを防止することができる。次に、図2は本
発明の他の実施例を示したもので、本実施例では裏金2
についてはその突合せ面4を図示しないハウジングの分
割面Aと平行に形成し、ライニング材3については裏金
2の突合せ面4から斜めに切断することにより、突合せ
