In the conventional plate fin-and-tube heat exchanger described above, when it is used for vehicles, it runs on unpaved roads during rain and expressways during the winter season when anti-freezing agents are sprayed. As a result of running, corrosion products (sodium chloride, calcium chloride, sulfur oxides, etc.) are deposited between plate fins of the heat exchanger while repeating alternate dry and wet conditions. These are the number of rows of tube groups (thickness)
If the amount is small, it can be easily discharged and washed by pouring tap water from the outer surface, but in the multi-row plate fin-and-tube heat exchanger, the corrosion products accumulated on the inner surface are removed by the same method. Is difficult. Another method using high-pressure washing water has a drawback that the fins are tilted by the water pressure and the smooth flow of air is impeded, thereby impairing the original heat exchange performance. In addition, the corrosion products that are not eliminated accelerate the corrosion of the plate fin material and the tube material, resulting in a shortcoming of impairing the original function.
