Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform an automatic feeding of closing material and save energy by a method wherein the closing material such as sand and the like is supplied from a storing hopper into a feeding hopper, the feeding hopper is rotated vertically and moved above a molten steel port and at the same time its inner side near the molten steel port is monitored by a monitoring means. CONSTITUTION:In order to feed closing material, sand 42, for example, into a molten steel port of an electric furnace 2, at first, a predetermined amount of sand 42 is cut out by a cutting-out device 39 of a storing hopper 40 and at the same time a supplying shoot 38 is extended to supply the sand 42 into the feeding hopper 33. Then, the supplying shoot 38 is shortened and a turning arm 32 is turned in an arcular motion vertically toward the moten steel port through a gear reducer 37 under an operation of a motor 36 and the arm is moved just above a feeding pipe seat 301 just above the molten steel port. Subsequently, a cut gage 34 fixed to the lower end of the feeding hopper 33 is released to feed the sand 42 into the molten steel port and at the same time a feeding condition of the sand 42 is confirmed by the monitoring camera 35. After this operation, the turning arm 32 is returned back to the supplying shoot 38 and the supplying shoot 38 is extended again.

As shown in FIG. 5, sand for one time is received from the auxiliary raw material addition equipment via the dedicated sand supply shunt 1 into the sand feeding hopper 3 (the position where this is received is shown by the dotted line in FIG. 5). Then, the hopper 3 is swung by the arm 4 at the horizontal level in the direction of the arrow and moved to a position just above the tapping hole (this moving position is shown by a solid line in FIG. 5). At this moving position, a gate (not shown) at the lower end of the sand feeding hopper 3 is opened to feed sand into the tap hole 1 of the electric furnace 2 as a closing material. Reference numeral 21 is an upper deck on the tap hole.

In the sand throwing apparatus described in Japanese Patent Publication No.-91668, a sand storage hopper 5, a shoe 7, and a funnel-shaped sand receiver 8 are rotatably supported by a swivel arm 6 around a column 7. The sand receiver 8 is supported by a wire 9 so as to be vertically movable. Therefore, the sand 10 is thrown into the pouring nozzle 11 of the ladle by vertically moving the funnel-shaped sand receiver 8.

According to the method shown in FIG.
Since the sand turning hopper 3 has a wide horizontal swing range, when working on the maintenance deck 21 provided around the tap hole or when going to the deck using the stairs 22 and the passage 23,
Many are included in the turning range, which is dangerous.
Therefore, even if the upper deck 21 has a large space, it is not always possible to effectively use the deck and the passage.

Further, when the sand cannot be successfully put into the tap hole, the worker needs to go to the upper deck 21 above the tap hole and adjust the position of the sand feeding hopper 3. Therefore, until the sand is put into the sand input hopper 3 again from the sand supply shoe 1 and swirled, and the position of the sand is adjusted and the sand is input to the steel tap, the work in the high heat atmosphere can be performed. As it continues, the workload of workers is high.

Further, the actual construction of Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 56-91668 shown in FIG.
In the sand throwing device shown in the publication, since the sand storage hopper 5 horizontally swivels, there is a safety problem during maintenance work as in the case shown in FIG. It is difficult to apply it to the tap hole of an electric furnace that cannot lower the vessel 8.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to solve the above problems. Specifically, sand or the like sent from a storage hopper for an occluding material such as sand is received by a receiving hopper such as sand. While the hopper is configured to rotate vertically,
A surveillance camera is attached near the tap hole where sand etc. is thrown, and in this way the throwing sand etc. to the tap hole can be automatically performed and this throw can be confirmed by the surveillance camera. Proposes a device for feeding a clogging material such as sand to the tap hole that can perform a series of sand feeding operations without going to the tap hole at all.

As described in detail above, the throwing apparatus according to the present invention cuts out a predetermined amount of sand from the storage hopper such as sand in the work of throwing sand into the tapping mouth, and ejects it by the vertical swing motion of the sand throwing hopper. While moving to just above the steel mouth and throwing sand etc. into the tap hole, the sand feeding status can be confirmed using a surveillance camera. Therefore, 1) Since a series of operations such as sanding can be performed automatically,
Workers do not have to go to the tap hole deck of the electric furnace, so high heat work can be eliminated and labor can be saved. 2) Since the input hopper such as sand swivels vertically in the vertical direction, the plane equipment operating range on the steel tap deck is smaller than that of the conventional horizontal swivel motion, and the deck is wide. It can be used effectively and at the same time maintenance work can be performed safely. 3) Even if sand etc. could not be thrown into the tap hole well, the situation can be seen by the surveillance camera, so the sand throwing operation is repeated again, and the stop position of the throwing hopper is adjusted by the surveillance camera, and sand etc. is thrown in again. Even in this case, the worker does not have to go to the tapping deck because it can. Therefore, the load on the worker can be reduced, and the operator in the central operation room can be made to perform the sand feeding operation.

Further, if the sand storage hopper is configured to be movable up and down, the sand and the like can be received in the work floor in front of the furnace. Therefore, the worker does not have to carry out the work of receiving sand or the like up to the high deck, and the work load can be reduced. Furthermore, since it is not necessary to go to a high place, there is no risk of falling or falling.
