Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare a dry pellet, excellent in stability of glutathione in drying and preserving and useful as a feed, etc., for cultured fishes by using an alcohol as a binding liquid in a feed containing a prescribed amount of reduced form glutathione, pelletizing the resultant mixture and drying the prepared pellets. CONSTITUTION:This method for producing the objective dry pellet is to add and mix an alcohol as a binding liquid to a feed containing 0.05-5wt.% reduced form glutathione such as a compound feed for a young yellowtail, then pelletize the resultant mixture and dry the prepared pellet at, e.g. 90 deg.C for 10min.

2. Description of the Related Art In aquaculture of fish, there has been a problem of liver dysfunction of fish due to high concentration of feed, overcrowding, use of feed with reduced freshness and the like. When liver dysfunction occurs, food intake decreases, growth slows, and death may occur. In order to prevent or treat such liver dysfunction, glutathione preparations, bile powder (the active ingredient is ursodesoxycholic acid, etc.), and licorice powder are often used as strong liver agents. Glutathione is effective not only for the prevention and treatment of liver dysfunction, but also for improving the meat quality of fish (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 60-244262) and preventing blackening of body color (Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-6779). It is used in addition to moist pellets and live feed.

Moist pellets, which are often used in fish farming, are formed by adding and mixing compounded feed etc. with raw fish as the main raw material, but when preserving it, freeze preservation Is required. However, since deterioration easily progresses even during frozen storage, it cannot be stored for a long period of time, and it is the current situation that moist pellets must be prepared every day or every two or three days, which is troublesome and requires equipment cost. There was a drawback. Therefore, in recent years, the use of dry pellets has been increasing from the viewpoint of convenience and storability. Along with this, dry pellets have also been strongly desired for pellets containing glutathione, which have various effects such as strong liver and meat quality improvement. However, glutathione is easily decomposed in the presence of water, and most of the glutathione is decomposed when dried in a heated state during the production of dry pellets,
There was a problem that the effect as glutathione could not be expected.

Means for Solving the Problems As a result of intensive studies to solve such problems, the present inventors have found that alcohol is used as a binding solution when pelletizing feed to reduce reduced glutathione during pellet drying. It was found that the degradation of γ-glutinone was suppressed and the stability of reduced glutathione during storage was also high, and the present invention was completed. That is,
The present invention uses dry glutathione (hereinafter also simply referred to as glutathione) -containing dry pellets for fish feed, and alcohol is used as a binding solution in forming the pellets, and then dry pellets containing reduced glutathione are dried. It provides a manufacturing method.

The origin of glutathione used in the present invention is not particularly limited, and purified glutathione and / or
Alternatively, glutathione contained in yeast extract can be used. The amount of glutathione added to the dry pellets is arbitrary, but is preferably 0.05 to 5% by weight. 0.05
If the amount is less than 5% by weight, the effect for fish feed is poor, and if the amount exceeds 5% by weight, there is no difference in the effect. The dry pellet of the present invention is a mixture of glutathione with other feeds,
It is produced by adding alcohol as a binding solution and then drying. Examples of the feed that can be added include those containing fish meal as a main component, and optionally wheat flour, vitamins, minerals and the like, artificially mixed feed, and the like, and powder is preferable. The alcohol used in the present invention is not particularly limited, but due to the nature of being used for feed,
It is preferably ethanol. The amount of alcohol added is arbitrary, but the amount suitable for forming dry pellets is 5 to 40 V / W% with respect to the feed. If it is less than this, the pellets are likely to collapse during molding, and if it is more than this, it becomes muddy when alcohol is added, and it becomes difficult to mold. Drying is performed so that the solid content of the dry pellets is 90% or more, preferably 93% or more.
About 1 minute to 1 hour at 0 to 100 ° C is sufficient.
