2. Description of the Related Art Generally, when food and drink are placed in a container and put in a distribution process such as sales, in order to prevent mischief with food and drink in the container, it is necessary to reseal the container once opened. Pilfer proofing means are provided so that it cannot. For example, the heat sealing method is a typical method. The heat-sealing method is used for many food packages because it has the characteristic that it does not require a special structure of the container itself.

This heat-sealing method is, for example, a synthetic resin-made drop lid-shaped device that is dropped into the opening of a cup-shaped container that contains food and drink, and its peripheral edge is placed on the peripheral edge of the top surface of the container. In this method, the lid (inner lid) is capped on the container, and the seal head of the heat sealer fuses the peripheral edge of the lid and the peripheral edge of the top surface of the container. The seal head is a block having a flat surface, and is configured to press a lid capped on the container with a predetermined pressure to come into contact therewith.

Therefore, since the lid is integrally connected to the container, the lid must be peeled off from the container when the food or drink is taken out. However, once the lid is peeled off from the container, the lid cannot be brought into close contact with the container again, so that no mischief can be made.

However, in the cup-shaped container, a lid (outer lid) other than the lid for heat sealing is provided in order to allow the consumer to temporarily store food and drink even after opening. There are many. In this case, a specific shape is applied to the peripheral portion of the top surface of the container, or an annular flange portion having a predetermined width is formed on the peripheral portion of the top surface, and the flange portion is given the specific shape. In such a case, the film sheet and the lid must be heat-sealed without destroying the shape of the peripheral portion of the top surface.

Therefore, for example, when a bead is formed on the peripheral portion of the top surface of the container, in the conventional heat sealer, the end face of the seal head is flat, and therefore the cross-sectional shape of the bead is formed. However, the fusion-bonded portion between the lid and the peripheral portion of the top surface of the container becomes linear rather than planar, and the fusion-bonded portion may be insufficient to completely seal the container. Further, since the peripheral edge portion of the lid body and the peripheral edge portion of the film sheet remain without being adhered, there is a problem that these peripheral edge portions are turned over and easily peeled off.

Therefore, in such a case, it has been attempted to increase the area of the peripheral portion of the lid or the like so as to wrap around the peripheral portion of the top surface of the container to prevent the curling up. The area of the part does not change, and when the container has a circular shape, wrinkles occur and the appearance is deteriorated. Therefore, changing the shape of the container or lid does not sufficiently solve the above problem.

The recess of the seal head accommodates the peripheral portion of the lid capped on the container and heat seals the peripheral portion of the top surface of the container.
When the concave portion of the seal head is composed of the top surface and the inclined surface, the inclined surface first heat-seals the peripheral portion of the lid to the peripheral portion of the top surface, and then the top surface attaches the peripheral portion of the lid to the container. Heat seal by pressing the entire surface to the peripheral edge. Further, when the intersection of the top surface and the inclined surface is formed into an arc, the flange portion of the lid body is entirely pressed against the bead portion of the container for heat sealing.

Therefore, as shown by the phantom line in FIG. 4, when the seal head 11 descends, the inclined surface 14 is first formed.
Comes into contact with the outermost portion of the flange portion 8 and is fused with the bead edge portion 6 (point A shown by an arrow), and then, as shown by the solid line, when the seal head 11 further descends, the concave portion 12 causes the top portion of the flange portion 8 to move. The flange portion 8 is fused to the bead portion 6 by abutting on the surface (point B shown by an arrow). At this time, since the flange portion 8 has an arcuate cross section or a flat surface having a larger curvature than the bead portion 5, the inclined surface 1
4 is pushed up and bent, is bent by being regulated by the top surface 13, and is heated, so that the top surface 13 and the inclined surface 1
Almost the entire surface of the flange portion 8 is fused to the bead portion 5 while being curved between the bead portion 4 and the bead portion 4.

In order to ensure the complete fusion bonding of the bead 5 and the flange 8 between the points A and B, the shape of the concave portion 12 of the seal head 11 should be set as shown in FIGS. It is best to change it as shown in. That is, the intersection of the inclined surface 14 and the top surface of the recess 12 is an arc portion 15 having the same curvature as the flange portion 8 or the bead portion 6. By doing so, as shown in FIG. 6, the flange portion 8 is entirely fused to the bead portion 6.
