[Prior Art] Various insertion guide tubes for endoscopes of this type have been devised to date (for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-14032). However, since this only loosely inserts the insertion portion of the endoscope into the insertion guide tube, when inserting the insertion guide tube into the body, there is a gap between the outer periphery of the endoscope insertion section and the tip of the insertion guide tube. There was a risk that the wall of the body cavity would be caught in the gap and pinched and damaged.

As shown in FIG. 7 to FIG. 9, this phenomenon is caused by the air inside the body cavity from the gap at the same time when the insertion guide tube a is inserted into the gap between the inner peripheral surface of the insertion guide tube and the outer periphery of the endoscope insertion portion b. Through the clearance on the proximal side of the insertion guide tube a, and the body cavity wall C, which originally kept a sufficient distance with respect to the insertion guide tube a due to the expansion, contracts as shown in FIG. It happens because it approaches and is involved.

Therefore, as a means for preventing the air in the body cavity from leaking out of the body, the one disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 62-116702 has been proposed. This is to provide an elastic member in close contact with the outer circumference of the endoscope insertion portion to be inserted into the proximal end portion of the insertion guide tube so as to prevent air leakage from the gap.

By the way, it is well known that the insertion guide tube is used to smoothly insert the endoscope insertion portion into the body cavity, particularly the S-shaped colon, which is an intricately bent organ. In this case, the endoscopic examination is performed while inserting air into the intestine from the tip of the endoscope simultaneously with insertion. It is an anatomical story, but as shown in Figure 10, S
The character colon d is not fixed to the abdominal wall or the like in the body cavity.
Further, as shown in FIGS. 11 to 12, folding in an accordion shape is also possible in the axial direction. From the above, the S-shaped colon d has various forms depending on the amount of air flowing into the intestine, but the endoscope insertion part b and the insertion guide tube a can be kept in a stable state without falling out in the intestine. In the state shown in FIG. 13, the air in the S-shaped colon d is sufficiently released. In addition, as shown in FIG. 15, when air is contained in the intestine, the intestine keeps a curved shape, so that the intestine is no matter how rigid the endoscope insertion part b or the insertion guide tube a is. It loses the power of and bends or slips out. On the contrary, if it is hard, it may be dangerous because it may make a hole in the intestine.

An insertion guide tube 8 is attached to the insertion section 2 of the endoscope 1. The insertion guide tube 8 is composed of a relatively long tube body 9 and a proximal portion 10 provided at the proximal end on the proximal side. The tube body 9 is made of a tube material having appropriate flexibility such that the tube body 9 does not lose the drag force of the body cavity wall when inserted into the body cavity, for example, porous polyfluoroethylene, polyurethane or the like. Further, the inner diameter of the tube body 9 is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the insertion portion 2 of the endoscope 1, and in the meanwhile, there is no hindrance to the insertion / removal of the insertion portion 2 even after being inserted into the body cavity of the tube body 9. A moderate gap 11 is formed over its entire length.

FIG. 5 shows a third embodiment of the present invention. A mouthpiece 16 is abutted and fixed to the proximal end of the insertion guide tube 8, and a ring 18 made of an elastic body is attached to a step portion 17 on the inner peripheral surface of the mouthpiece 16.
Is fitted. On the other hand, a male screw 19 is provided on the outer peripheral portion, and a ring member 21 provided with a female screw 20 correspondingly is externally fitted to the outside of the male screw 19. The ring member 21 has a pressing surface 22 for pressing the ring 18 by the rotation of the ring member 21. The minimum inner diameters of the mouthpiece 16, the ring 18, and the ring member 21 are substantially the same as the inner diameter of the insertion guide tube 8. When the insertion guide tube 8 is inserted into the body cavity, when the ring member 21 is rotated and the ring 18 is pushed, the ring 18 elastically deforms and sticks out in the inner peripheral direction, and is closely attached to the entire circumference of the insertion portion 2. After that, the insertion guide tube 8 is inserted into the body cavity.
After the insertion, when the ring member 21 is rotated to release the restriction on the ring 18, the contact between the ring 18 and the insertion portion 2 is released, and the air in the body cavity is discharged. Deform the ring 18 to the ring member
Since it can be held by screwing in 21 (even if you release your hand), opening and closing operation is reliable.
