The bush device has an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder which extend in the vertical direction and are arranged substantially coaxially.
And a rubber-like elastic body which is interposed between the two cylinders and constitutes a bushing main body. At this time, when a lateral force acts on the wheels from the road surface during turning of the vehicle, the lateral force is input to the suspension member via the suspension arm, which causes roll displacement of the suspension member. The device cannot effectively reduce the roll displacement, and it has been difficult to ensure good steering stability of the vehicle.

Therefore, in the prior art, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 28740/1990 is used.
A bushing device as described in Japanese Patent No. 5 is used to reduce the roll swing of the suspension member relative to the vehicle body. In this bush device, the inner cylinder and the bush body are vertically divided into two parts, and the outer peripheral surface of the upper inner cylinder facing inward in the vehicle width direction is inclined inward and downward in the vehicle width direction. An inclined surface is formed such that an outer peripheral surface of the lower inner cylinder facing outward in the vehicle width direction is inclined outward in the vehicle width direction and upward. further,
By forming the outer cylinder inner peripheral surface shape to be parallel to the inner cylinder outer peripheral surface shape, an inclined surface is also formed on the outer cylinder side.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional bush device, even if the bush main body having an elliptical cross section is press-fitted between the upper and lower cylinders, a sufficient pull-out load cannot be secured, so the slip-out prevention device. Need to be installed separately. If the retaining device is not provided, the bush main body may come out of the both cylinders while the suspension is being used, that is, while the vehicle is running, and a problem such as abnormal noise may occur. It should be noted that by tightening the bush main body from above and below with the upper inner cylinder and the outer inner cylinder, even if the outer cylinder is attached by utilizing the reaction force of the bush main body, play still occurs.

The resin is fixed to the inside of the recess and the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder in a connected state through the through hole, so that the resin sandwiches the inner and outer surfaces of the outer cylinder wall through the through hole. Can be installed with. This resin is in a state of protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder toward the outer surface of the inner cylinder, and prevents the bush main body interposed between the both cylinders from moving in the slip-out direction (axial direction).

At this time, the resin acts as an external force (reaction force) from the bush body in the axial direction, that is, an external force for peeling the resin from the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder. Since it is fixed so as to be sandwiched, the resin is prevented from peeling off from the outer cylinder. If the resin is simply fixed to the inner surface of the outer cylinder, the fixing strength is weak and the resin may peel off.

The inner cylinder 11 is provided with a slanted surface 1 by projecting toward the outer cylinder 12 at a position facing the intermediate portion in the vertical direction and in the vehicle width direction.
1a is formed. The inclined surface 11a is set such that the inside in the vehicle width direction faces inward and downward in the vehicle width direction, and the outside in the vehicle width direction faces outward and upward in the vehicle width direction. In addition, the outer cylinder 12 is recessed at a position facing the inclined surface 11 a in the radial direction so as to project toward the inner cylinder 11, and each of the recesses 14 is formed.
Through holes 15 are opened at the bottom of each.

The fixing of the resin 16 is carried out, for example, by forming a notch on the outer peripheral surface of the bush body 13 in accordance with the shape of the resin 16 to be formed in advance.
After press-fitting between the two cylinders 11 and 12, the resin 16 is poured through the through hole 15 and solidified to fix the resin. At this time, the resin 16 naturally flows into the recess 14 and adheres thereto. Since the concave portion 14 is dented, a jig for preventing the poured resin 16 from flowing out of the concave portion 14 is unnecessary, and since it does not protrude from the outer peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 12 even after solidified, Outer cylinder 12 for resin 16
There is no need to finish the outer peripheral surface.

As a result, the suspension member 5
Is elastically supported by the vehicle body 7 via the bush device 10,
The bush body 10 absorbs swinging of the suspension member 5 with respect to the vehicle body 7 in a substantially vertical direction. That is,
The vertical swing between the cylinders 11 and 12 of the bush device 10 is absorbed by the elastic force of the bush body 13. At this time, the bush main body 13 is
Although it tries to move in the axial direction (removal direction) between the two cylinders 11 and 12 by bending, the resin 16 prevents the movement and the bush main body 13 does not come out from between the two cylinders 11 and 12. Unlike the conventional case, it is not necessary to attach the bush retaining device separately.

In the suspension having the above structure, when a lateral force acts on the wheel 1 from the road surface during turning or the like, this lateral force is input to the vehicle body 7 via the vertical force transmission member 9 and at the same time, the upper arm. It is also input to the suspension member 5 via the lower arm 4 and the lower arm 4. At this time, for example, when a lateral force that acts inward in the vehicle width direction acts on the wheel 1, a force that acts outward in the vehicle width direction and upward acts on the suspension member 5, and conversely, acts on the wheel 1 outside in the vehicle width direction. When a lateral force directed inward is applied, a force directed inward and downward in the vehicle width direction is applied to the suspension member 5, whereby the suspension member 5 tends to swing in the roll direction with respect to the vehicle body 7.

However, when the suspension member 5 is elastically supported by the bush device 10 having the above-described structure, the inner cylinder 11 and the outer cylinder 12 are relatively displaced laterally due to the lateral component of the force acting on the suspension member 5. Then, the bush main body 13 portion between the opposed inclined surfaces 11 a and 16 a is compressed, and the spring constant of the bush device 10 in the vertical direction increases, and the relative displacement in the vertical direction between both cylinders 11 and 12 is increased. Is suppressed.

At the same time, the inclined surfaces 11a and 16a are formed on the bush body 13 between the inclined surfaces 11a and 16a between the two cylinders.
Since a reaction force is generated in a direction perpendicular to the direction, and this reaction force acts in a direction to cancel the force acting on the suspension member 5, the relative swing of the suspension member 5 with respect to the vehicle body 7 in the roll direction is reduced. As a result, good steering stability is ensured when the vehicle turns.

The inclination angle of each of the inclined surfaces 11a and 16a is optimally set according to the layout of the suspension structure used. Further, in the above embodiment, the inclined surface 11a is provided on the inner cylinder 11 side, but the inclined surface 11a may not be formed on the inner cylinder side 11.
