(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] The present invention relates to safety shoes in a workplace, a transportation industry, or the like where there is a risk of falling objects. It is lightweight, has improved pressure resistance and shock resistance, and is intended for safe work. [Structure] A thermoplastic resin or a resin obtained by compounding these resins with glass fiber, carbon fiber, etc., is molded by injection molding, pressure molding, or the like. In the toecap of the safety shoe, the toe bending part 1 is usually 3 to 1 from the thick part 3 of 1.2 mm to 2.5 mm.
Safety shoes and work shoe toecaps that are 0 times thicker and the skirt portion 2 is 2 to 5 times as wide as the steel toecaps that are usually 3 mm to 5 mm wide.

Regarding the toecap of safety shoes, the upper part is strengthened to protect the instep part due to falling objects or falling of heavy objects, and steel parts have been put to practical use at these parts. However, since a steel toe box is heavy, a resin toe box has been used recently for the purpose of weight reduction, but the strength comparable to that of a steel toe box cannot be obtained, and leather safety shoes JIS There is no one that passes the standard (JI ST 8101 leather safety shoes class L), so it has not been mass-produced. Also, as seen in the invention of Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 61-42402, there is a "composite reinforced resin safety shoe toecap", but this is deformed when pressed and sufficient strength cannot be obtained.

The present invention solves these problems and provides a lightweight, high-strength safety shoe and work shoe toecap.

That is, the present invention is a synthetic resin safety shoe or work shoe toecap in which the toe bending portion is thickened 3 to 10 times thicker than other portions, and the skirt portion having a width of 3 mm to 5 mm is normally extended 2 to 5 times. The synthetic resin used in the present invention may be any of a thermoplastic resin, a thermosetting resin, a fiber reinforced resin (FRP) having glass fiber or the like as a reinforcing material. A preferable resin is a polyamide resin or a polyolefin resin which is strong in bending resistance and pressure resistance, and FRP having these resins as a base material and glass fiber, carbon fiber or the like as a reinforcing material is preferable. Compression molding and injection molding are preferable in terms of increasing the strength of the toecap. Further, the normal thickness of the bent portion of the toe is 2.5 mm or more, and even the thickest is about 5 mm. The thickness of the bent portion of the toe according to the present invention is 3 to 10 times thicker than other portions, and is specifically 6 mm to 10 mm. On the other hand, the width of the skirt is 3 mm or more, which is defined by JIS standard, and about 5 mm at the longest. The length of the skirt portion of the present invention is 6 mm to 25 mm.

Next, the comparison test results of the conventional safety shoes and the product according to the present invention will be shown. The test method was a compression test of the finished product of the leather safety shoes JIS standard (JIS T 8101), and an impact test of the finished product. The material of the sample of the product according to the present invention was a glass fiber-containing composite sample (FRP), and the molding was performed by compression molding. The thickness of the shoes other than the toecap and the skirt of the bent toe part was 2.5 mm. Judging from the above measurement results, if the strength of a resin toecap with a normal thickness is shown by the measured value, a molded product with a resin toecap thickness of 2.5 mm will be compressed and destroyed at 500 kg. It was found that the toecap according to the plan had a compressive strength of 900 kg.

Using a glass fiber reinforced resin (FRP), compression molding was carried out by an ordinary method to obtain a resin toecap shown in FIG. This toecap was tested by the compression test method of the finished product of the leather safety shoes JIS standard (JIS T 8101). A normal toecap molded with a wall thickness of 2.5 mm was cracked at 300 kg and was unacceptable. Next, a test was conducted on a toe core having a wall thickness of 2.5 mm, a bent toe portion of 7.5 mm and an extension width of the skirt portion of 10 mm. As a result, the value exceeded 700 kg, which was higher than the standard value, and passed. Further, the resin toecap according to the present invention was 50% lighter than the weight of the steel toecap.

The present invention is configured as described above, has excellent pressure resistance and impact resistance, is extremely safe, and is extremely lightweight to prevent foot fatigue, and it has a resin moldability. It is a toecap with an excellent design because it is good.
