与し4ケ月後の鶏卵を採取し鶏卵の品質を調査し表2に
しめした。比較のために表1の飼料からアスタキサンチ
ンのみを除いた対照区の飼料で同一種の鶏を同様に育成
し採取した鶏卵の品質も調査し表2にまとめた。この結
果アスタキサンチンを添加した飼料で飼育した鶏から採
取された鶏卵の卵黄の色調は対照区に比較し良好で、ハ
ウユニット、アスタキサンチン含量も試験区が高く良好
であり本発明の鶏卵がアスタキサンチンを含有し品質の
高い卵であることが確認できた。
