上下方向に可動的に取付けられた回転軸18に取付けら
れ、磁気カードのトラック部を上下から挟むように配置
されている。図3に示すように、厚み検出用のローラ2
は、磁気カード9の進入により上下動すると、ローラが
固定された回転軸18が上下動するよう構成されてい
る。回転軸18の上下動は、磁気カード読取装置の側方
に取り付られた厚み計測装置のリニアスケールにより読
みとられ、この厚み測定結果は真偽判定装置に送られ、
