方法の発明に関するものであるから,次のような優れた
効果を有する。 本発明の抗菌竹活性炭は高い抗菌性と吸着性を有する
ので,たとえば段ボ−ル箱に収納した生鮮食品(野菜,
果実)のほかラン等の高価な生花等も薬品処理の必要が
なく,それらの保存期間が大幅に延び,ガス濃度抑制も
増大される。実験によれば,ブロッコリ−,メロン共に
30日〜45日の保存中もその鮮度が保持されていた。 また,上記のように本発明の抗菌竹活性炭には防臭作
用があるから,鮮度が高い期間でも微量に発生するエチ
レン,アセトアルデヒド,メルカプタン等のガスの吸着
は勿論,輸送中に衝撃等で一部の収納食品の鮮度が破損
し,その不良食品に起因して発生する雑菌による腐敗促
進が隣接して保存中の他の鮮度の高い食品に拡散するの
を的確に防止することができるので,その不良食品を除
去すれば残りの食品は販売に支障を及ぼさない。 なお,本発明の抗菌竹活性炭及び抗菌竹活性炭入りパ
ックは上記の段ボ−ル箱に収納使用する以外の各種適用
用途があるので,この抗菌竹活性炭及び抗菌竹活性炭入
りパックの商品価値は非常に大である。
