However, as shown in FIG. 5, when the folding perforations are punched, the adhesive 6 between the strip-shaped label sheets is on the opposite side of the folding perforation 4 from the cut face to the insertion surface 12. When the continuous label paper 1 is slightly protruded on the surface 13 and is folded as shown in FIG. 6, the adhesive 6 is exposed to the outside, and the folded continuous label paper is pulled out. When it is sent to a device such as a printer, the adhesive that comes out comes into contact with the guide plate of the paper feed mechanism and adheres, which piles up and impairs the smooth feeding of continuous label paper. Therefore, it is necessary to remove the adhesive from the sliding contact portion such as the feed plate as maintenance of the equipment.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in FIG. That is, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, the continuous label paper 1 has a protective layer 14 having a peeling property such as silicon or varnish on a surface 13 opposite to the insertion surface 12 of the folding perforation 4. Is provided by printing or the like, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive that easily comes out from the cuts of the folding perforations 4 does not adhere to the protective layer 14. Then, in order to produce this continuous label paper 1, in a pair of strip-shaped label sheets which are releasably stuck together, the surface 13 opposite to the insertion surface 12 of the perforated perforated portion 11 for folding is to be formed. After the protective layer 15 is provided in advance by printing or the like, the folding perforations 4 are punched from the insertion surface 12 side. As a result, even if the adhesive may wrap around to the protective layer when the sewing blade is inserted, the adhesive returns to the end face side of the perforation and remains on the protective layer 15 when the sewing blade is removed. Disappears. The protective layer may be provided on the insertion surface 12 side in consideration of the efficiency of the production process, or may be provided on the band-shaped label sheet before being laminated.
