Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a tacky adhesive tape applicable without peeling a releasing paper and effective for preventing the scattering of the peeled releasing papers and to provide a releasing treatment of a foamed sheet preventing the generation of thin or uneven thickness of the foamed sheet. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a foamed sheet 1 (having an expansion ratio of 15 and a thickness of 1.5 mm) made of a crosslinked closed-cell low-density polyethylene is covered with a tacky adhesive layer 2 containing an acrylic resin as a base resin and having a thickness of 50mum. The other surface of the foamed sheet is covered with a releasing layer 3 having an areal weight of 15 g/m<2> and produced by dissolving a polyethylene imine derivative (product of Nippon Shokubai Co., Ltd.; commercial name: PR-20) in toluene at 3% concentration and applying and drying the solution. The obtained tacky adhesive tape is wound in the form of a roll facing the tacky adhesive layer 2 inward.

2. Description of the Related Art Adhesive tapes having an adhesive layer provided on one surface of a foamed sheet of polyethylene resin or the like are widely used as heat insulating materials, joint materials, cushioning materials and the like for buildings and air conditioning equipment. Such a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is made into a product in a state in which a long tape is wound in a roll shape, and is used while being unwound.

By the way, in order to rewind the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape wound in a roll, it is necessary to perform a mold release treatment on the surface of the foamed sheet opposite to the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. However, as a method of applying a release agent to the surface of the foamed sheet, the base material between the gravure roll and the pinch roll, which is usually used for non-foamed synthetic resins and those having kraft paper as the base material, is used. If a method of applying a release agent while pinching is used, the foamed sheet is squeezed in the thickness direction, and as a result, the thickness of the foamed sheet becomes thin or uneven, resulting in a defective product.

Therefore, the release paper 8 used for transferring the adhesive layer 7 to the surface of the foam sheet 1 is temporarily applied to the foam sheet 1 as shown in FIG. 3, instead of directly applying the release agent to the foam sheet. The product is rolled into a rolled product, which is attached to an adherend while the release paper 8 is peeled off by hand when used.

The above-mentioned conventional adhesive tape having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the surface of the foamed sheet and a release paper temporarily attached to the surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer requires time and effort for peeling the release paper when used. If you are wearing work gloves, it is difficult to remove them without removing them. In addition, the release paper peeled off scatters in the work place, which not only hinders the work but also causes a risk of slipping of a person. Furthermore, it is necessary to dispose of the release paper.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional problems, does not require the trouble of peeling the release paper, and the peeling release paper does not scatter, and the thickness of the foamed sheet becomes thin or uneven. An object of the present invention is to provide a mold release treatment method for a foamed sheet that does not become a problem.

The foamed sheet made of polyolefin resin used in the present invention includes low density polyethylene, medium high density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-propylene copolymer, and the like. , Consisting of a mixture of two or more of these. The above-mentioned polyolefin resin is preferably crosslinked because it has excellent heat resistance and strength and the cells are fine and uniform.

When the foaming ratio of the foamed sheet is lower than 5, the foamed sheet becomes hard and difficult to be wound around a paper tube, and the characteristics of the foamed product cannot be fully utilized as a product. When it exceeds 30 times, the foamed sheet becomes soft and easily stretched, so that coating and subsequent processability deteriorate. Therefore, the expansion ratio is preferably 5 to 30 times.

If the thickness of the foamed sheet is less than 0.5 mm, it tends to stretch and the workability deteriorates, and if it exceeds 5 mm, it becomes difficult to adjust the tension due to the change in the winding diameter when winding it on the paper tube. The thickness is preferably 0.5 to 5 mm.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer used in the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape according to claim 1 is the same as that used in ordinary pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes. For example, an acrylic resin or rubber base, to which a tackifying resin, a softening agent, an antiaging agent, and other additives are added may be used.

In the formation of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, if the foamed sheet is passed between rolls and directly applied while being pressed, the foamed structure is crushed and the thickness becomes thin, and the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer varies. It is preferable that the adhesive layer is applied to a desired thickness and dried to form an adhesive layer, and the adhesive layer is attached to the surface of the foamed sheet. Further, if necessary, an undercoat may be applied before applying the pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Examples of the release layer provided on the other surface of the foamed sheet include silicone, long-chain alkyl group-containing polymer, polyethyleneimine, alkyd resin, shellac, fluorine compound, etc. From the viewpoints of the ability to be overlaid and the need for curing, long-chain alkyl group-containing polymers such as long-chain alkyl acrylate copolymers and long-chain alkyl acrylate copolymers are preferable. Thermosetting silicones are preferable because they are solventless and do not scatter solvent gas and the strength of the release agent film is high. The thickness of the release layer is preferably about 0.3 to 5 μm.

The release agent used in the method for releasing a foamed sheet according to claim 2 is the same as that used in claim 1. In the method of the present invention, a kiss roll coater is used to apply the release agent. The reason for this is that when a kiss roll coater is used, the release agent is applied while being sent along the upper surface of the gravure roll of the kiss roll, so that it is not pinched between the two rolls and the foam structure of the foam sheet is Because it is not crushed, its thickness does not change.

However, since the surface of the foamed sheet has fine irregularities and is not smooth, it is necessary to make the surface of the foamed sheet conform to the surface by pressing it against the coating roll to some extent. For this reason, about 5 to 10 ° with respect to the tangent of the coating roll.
It is preferable that the foamed sheet is fed in and fed out at an angle of. If this angle is less than 5 °, the conformability of the surface of the foamed sheet with the coating roll will be insufficient, and if it exceeds 10 °, the tension between the guide rolls on both sides will be large, and the foamed sheet will easily stretch. Approximately 2 to the foam sheet at the above angle
A tension of 3 kg / cm 2 is preferably applied.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention has a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on one surface of a foamed sheet substrate and a release layer on the other surface thereof, and therefore is not required to have release paper and is wound in a roll shape. It can be easily rewound, there is no need to remove the release paper during use, and there is no need to dispose of the peeled release paper. Further, in the method of releasing treatment of the foamed sheet of the present invention, since the force for pressing the foamed sheet does not act, the thickness does not change and a product of good quality can be obtained.
