[Prior Art] Conventionally, as a tube used for a heat exchanger, a tube having a plurality of projections 2a and 2b as shown in Fig. 4 is known (for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 59-500877). This tube 1
Is formed into a flat shape having two flat side surfaces 101 and 102 facing each other by butt welding both ends of the strip-shaped plate material. Then, the butt weld 3 has two flat side surfaces 101,
The plurality of protrusions 2a and 2b are located at the connecting portion of the 102, and are arranged in two rows on both flat side surfaces 101 and 102.

In such a tube 1, the plurality of protrusions 2a, 2b are formed by press molding before rolling the strip-shaped plate material, and a great force acts on the strip-shaped plate material during this pressing.
In particular, when the protrusion 2a located near the butt weld 3 is formed, the pressing force affects the butt end, and the butt ends 3a and 3b become wavy as shown in FIG. It will be distorted. As a result, it is difficult to weld well even if the ends 3a and 3b are welded, and there is a problem that welding failure occurs.

In view of this, in the present invention, the butt welded portion is positioned substantially at the center of one flat side surface of the flat tube, and the plurality of protrusions are formed only on the other flat side surface.

Therefore, since the protrusion and the welded portion are located on different flat side surfaces, there is almost no effect on the welded portion due to the stress when the protrusion is formed, and there is no distortion at the butt end of the strip-shaped plate material, which is good. Welding can be done on.

FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a tube 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 1A is a front view of the tube 1, and FIG. 1B is a side view thereof. The tube 1 has flat sides 101 facing each other,
A butt weld portion 3 having a line 102 and extending linearly in the longitudinal direction of the tube 1 is located substantially in the center of the first flat side surface 101. On the second flat side surface 102, a plurality of protrusions 2a, 2b projecting inward of the tube 1 are formed in two rows in the longitudinal direction of the tube 1. The protrusions 2a, 2b are for agitating the flow of a plurality of exchange fluids flowing in the tube 1 to promote heat exchange efficiency, and in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, they have an oval shape. However, the individual shapes of the protrusions 2a and 2b are not limited to the elliptical shape, and can be modified into a circular shape, a quadrangular shape, a triangular shape, or the like.

Next, a procedure for manufacturing the tube 1 will be described. Sixth
(A)-(g) is a schematic diagram which shows the manufacturing process of the tube 1. First, a pair of punches 201 and a die are attached to the strip plate material 100.
The protrusions 2a and 2b are press formed using 200 (FIG. 6 (a)). Next, a pair of punches 203 and a die 204 are pressed so that the abutting ends 3a, 3b of the strip plate material 100 have an R shape (FIG. 6 (b)). Next, the punch 206 is pressed against an intermediate position between the protrusion 2a and the protrusion 2b, and the strip-shaped plate material 100 is formed into a U-shape along the V-shaped die 205 (FIG. 6 (c)). Then, the V-shaped strip-shaped plate material 100 is formed into a circular tube (Fig. 6 (d)), and its butt ends are welded (Fig. 6 (e)). The circular tube is gradually flattened by using a pair of rollers (not shown), etc. (Fig. 6 (f)), and the flat tube 1 is positioned so that the welded portion 3 is located at the substantially central portion of one flat side surface. Is completed (Fig. 6 (g)).

FIG. 2 is a perspective view when the present invention is used as a heater core 30 of an automobile heating system. The heater core 300 includes an inlet tank 302 that receives hot water from an engine (not shown) through an inlet pipe 301, an outlet tank 304 that has an outlet pipe 305 that returns the hot water that has become low temperature due to heat exchange to the engine side, and an intermediate tank. And 303. The inlet tank 302 and the intermediate tank 303 are connected by a plurality of tubes 1, and the intermediate tank 303 and the outlet tank 304 are also connected to the tube 1.
Are communicated with. Therefore, the hot water flowing into the inlet tank 302 flows through the tube 1 into the intermediate tank 303, and further flows through the tube 1 into the outlet tank 304.
