[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] By the way, in the conventional peeling method of peeling the photothermographic material and the image receiving material after transfer from the outer periphery of the heating drum by such a peeling nail, the peeling nail is inevitably attached to each material. Because of contact, each material is damaged during this peeling, or the heat at the contact part is dissipated by the heat transfer due to the contact (the degree of heating becomes uneven), which causes image unevenness after transfer. There was a drawback.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In the image recording material peeling method according to the present invention, a photothermographic material on which an image has been exposed and an image receiving material are superposed and wound around the outer periphery of a heating drum by a pressure contact means, After heat-development of the photothermographic material by heating while sandwiching and transporting both materials between the photothermographic material and the pressure contact means and transferring the image to the image-receiving material, the photothermographic material and the image-receiving material are separated from the outer periphery of the heating drum. In the method of peeling image recording materials, the photothermographic material is positioned on the side of the heating drum, and the leading end of the photothermographic material is superposed such that the leading end in the carrying direction projects beyond the leading end in the carrying direction of the image receiving material. In the direction in which the protrusion is pulled out from the sandwiching portion between the heating drum and the pressure contact means to the downstream side in the conveying direction, the conveyance is temporarily stopped, and the protrusion portion of the photothermographic material is separated from the heating drum. After curling is caused, the conveyance is restarted, and both materials are separated from the heating drum.

Further, the image recording material peeling method according to the present invention, the imagewise exposed photothermographic material and the image receiving material are overlapped and wound around the outer periphery of the heating drum by the pressure contact means, and between the heating drum and the pressure contact means. When peeling the photothermographic material and the image receiving material from the outer periphery of the heating drum after heating both the materials while sandwiching and conveying them at a predetermined conveying speed to thermally develop the photothermographic material and transferring the image to the image receiving material Of the image recording material, wherein the photothermographic material is positioned on the side of the heating drum, and the leading end portion in the carrying direction is projected so as to project beyond the leading end in the carrying direction of the image receiving material. Is temporarily conveyed at a speed slower than the predetermined conveying speed at the time point when the both materials are pulled out from the sandwiching portion between the heating drum and the pressure contact means to the downstream side in the conveying direction, and the material is transferred to the tip protruding portion of the photothermographic material. Previous After that caused the direction of curl away from the heating drum, it is characterized in that conveys both materials again by the predetermined conveying speed, to separate the two materials from the heating drum.

[Operation] In the image recording material peeling method having the above-described structure, the photothermographic material on which the image is exposed is located closer to the heating drum than the image receiving material, and its leading end in the carrying direction projects beyond the leading end in the carrying direction of the image receiving material. Are overlaid as if to do. Further, it is supplied between the heating drum and the pressing means, and is wound around the outer periphery of the heating drum in a state of being superposed.

Then, after the transfer, when the leading end protruding portion of the photothermographic material is pulled out to the downstream side in the transport direction from the sandwiching portion between the heating drum and the pressure contact means, the transport is temporarily stopped. Here, when the tip end protruding portion of the photothermographic material is heated by the heating drum, the exposed surface side (dye surface side) thereof curls on the side opposite to the heating drum.

After the transfer, when the protruding portion of the tip of the photothermographic material is pulled out to the downstream side in the transport direction from the sandwiching portion between the heating drum and the pressure contact means, both materials are temporarily transported at a speed slower than a predetermined transport speed. You may. Also in this case, when the tip protrusion of the photothermographic material is heated by the heating drum, the exposed surface side (dye surface side) thereof curls on the side opposite to the heating drum, and further, after curling occurs, The conveyance at a predetermined conveyance speed is restarted, and the photothermographic material is separated from the heating drum by the rotation of the heating drum together with the image receiving material located outside.

In this way, since the photothermographic material and the image receiving material are automatically peeled from the heating drum as they are conveyed, each material may be damaged by the peeling claws or the like, or the peeling claws may come into contact with each other. The contact portion does not dissipate heat due to the heat transfer (the degree of heating becomes uniform), so that a good image can be obtained without causing image unevenness after transfer.

The photothermographic material 16 superposed on the image receiving material 32 is sandwiched between the heating drum 34 and the endless pressure contact belt 36 while being kept in close contact, and is conveyed at a predetermined conveying speed (20 mm / sec). When the photothermographic material 16 is heated by the heating drum 34 heated to about 90 ° C. by the halogen lamp 38, it releases a movable dye, and the dye receives the image receiving material 32.
An image is obtained on the image receiving material 32 by being transferred to the dye fixing layer.

In this way, since the photothermographic material 16 and the image receiving material 32 are automatically peeled from the heating drum 34 as they are conveyed, each material may be damaged at the time of peeling by a peeling claw or the peeling claw may The contact portion does not radiate heat due to the heat transfer due to the contact (the degree of heating becomes uniform), so that a good image can be obtained without causing image unevenness after the transfer.

In the present embodiment, the tip end protruding portion 16A of the photothermographic material 16 is located downstream of the nip between the heating drum 34 and the endless pressure contact belt 36 in the conveying direction (wrapping around the tension roller 43 of the endless pressure contact belt 36). Although the conveyance of the photothermographic material 16 and the image receiving material 32 is temporarily stopped at the time of extraction to the partial downstream side), the invention is not limited to this. At the time of extraction, both materials are temporarily transported at a speed slower than the transport speed after transfer (20 mm / sec) (fine speed transport), and after curling occurs, transport at the specified transport speed is resumed. It may be configured to.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the image recording material peeling method according to the present invention uses the image recording material such as the heat-developable photosensitive material or the image-receiving material wound around the outer periphery of the heating drum and subjected to the heat-development-transfer processing to obtain the image unevenness. It has an excellent effect that it can be reliably peeled from the heating drum without causing any damage.

2. A heat-developable photosensitive material on which an image is exposed and an image receiving material are superposed and wound around the outer periphery of a heating drum by a pressure contact means, and both materials are conveyed at a predetermined conveying speed between the heating drum and the pressure contact means. An image recording material peeling method for peeling the photothermographic material and the image receiving material from the outer periphery of the heating drum after heating and developing the photothermographic material while sandwiching and transporting the image and transferring the image to the image receiving material. The heat-developable photosensitive material is positioned on the heating drum side and the leading end portion in the transporting direction is overlapped so as to project beyond the leading end portion in the transporting direction of the image receiving material. When both materials are temporarily conveyed at a speed slower than the predetermined conveying speed at the time of being pulled out from the sandwiched portion to the downstream side in the conveying direction, the both ends of the heat-developable photosensitive material are separated from the heating drum to the tip protruding portion. After causing Lumpur, it conveys both materials again at the predetermined transport speed, an image recording material separating method, characterized in that for peeling the two materials from the heating drum.
