Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent transfer deviation by forming a superposing roller on a heating drum side to the hardness higher than the roller on the outer side thereof and superposing a heat development photosensitive material and an image receiving material at a prescribed curvature, then winding the materials around the heating drum. CONSTITUTION:The image receiving materials 32 is taken out by each sheet by a roller 38 and is superposed on the photosensitive material 16 by the superposing rollers 60, 62 disposed to a heat development transfer section 28. The superposed materials are fed into the transfer section 28. The roller 60 on the heating drum 34 side of the superposing rollers 60, 62 is formed to the hardness harder than the hardness of the roller 62 on the outer side thereof so that the photosensitive material 16 and the image receiving material 32 are curved at the prescribed curvature along the outside circumference of the roller 60 when these materials are pinched. The photosensitive material 16 and the image receiving material 32 are wound around the outside circumference of the heating drum 34 in such a manner, by which the transfer deviation arising from a difference in the winding diameter corresponding to the wall thickness is prevented.

The heat-developable photosensitive material or image-receiving material used in this type of image recording device has a predetermined length (for example, in A4 size, the total length is 21 mm).
The sheets are cut into pieces with a total length of 42 Q mm (0 mm 5 A 3 size) and stacked on top of each other, and then conveyed to the thermal development transfer section. In this heat development transfer section, each material is conveyed in a stacked state between a heated drum heated to about 90°C and an endless pressure belt for a predetermined period of time, whereby the photothermographic material is thermally developed. At the same time, the image recorded on the photothermographic material is transferred to the image-receiving material.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, here, the photothermographic material and the image receiving material, which are wrapped around the outer periphery of the heating drum (between the endless pressure belt) in a superimposed state, are wrapped around the outside of the heating drum. Naturally, the winding diameters of those located inside and those located inside are different depending on their wall thickness, so even if each material is properly overlapped by a pair of nipping rollers and fed to the outer periphery of the heating drum, There has been a problem in that as the tape is wound, the position shifts from the normal overlapping position. That is, this results in a transfer misalignment when an image recorded on a photothermographic material is transferred to an image-receiving material, and a good image may not be obtained.

In consideration of the above facts, the present invention has been developed by wrapping an exposed photothermographic material and an image-receiving material around the outer periphery of a drum, heating the photothermographic material, thermally developing the photothermographic material, and transferring an image to the image-receiving material. The object is to obtain a thermal development transfer device that can obtain good images without causing misalignment.

[Means for Solving the Problems] A thermal development transfer device according to the present invention includes a superposition roller that superimposes an exposed photothermographic material and an image-receiving material and supplies them to the outer periphery of a heating drum. A thermal development transfer device that thermally develops a photothermographic material and transfers an image to the image-receiving material by heating the photothermographic material while wrapping the material and image-receiving material in a superimposed state around the outer periphery of a heating drum. The hardness of the rollers is set so that those located on the heating drum side are harder than those located on the outside thereof,
The method is characterized in that the photothermographic material and the image-receiving material are superimposed with a predetermined curvature by the superimposing roller and then wound around the outer periphery of the heating drum.

Furthermore, the heat development transfer device according to the present invention overlaps the exposed heat development photosensitive material and the image receiving material, heats the same with a heating drum, thermally develops the heat development photosensitive material, and transfers the image to the image receiving material. A thermal development transfer device comprising: a conveyance means for supplying the heat-developable photosensitive material and the image-receiving material onto the heating drum; The present invention is characterized in that it is provided with a superimposing roller that performs superimposition by sandwiching the materials therebetween, and that the superimposing roller has a hardness softer than that of the heating drum.

[Function] In the thermal development transfer device configured according to claim (1), the exposed photothermographic material and the image-receiving material are overlapped with a predetermined curvature by the overlapping roller and then supplied to the outer periphery of the heating drum. The photothermographic material is thermally developed by being heated while being wrapped around the outer periphery of a heating drum in the overlapping state, and the image is transferred to the image receiving material.

Here, the heat-developable photosensitive material and the image-receiving material wound around the outer periphery of the heating drum have a difference in winding diameter corresponding to their wall thickness. However, since the stacking rollers located on the heating drum side are harder than those located on the outside, stacking is performed by curving along the outer periphery of the stacking roller located on the heating drum side. . The heat-developable photosensitive material and the image-receiving material thus overlapped with a predetermined curvature are supplied to a heating drum having a similar curvature, and heated by being wrapped around the outer periphery of the heating drum.

Therefore, even if each material is overlapped and supplied to the outer periphery of the heating drum and then wrapped around the outer periphery of the drum, there will be no misalignment with respect to the normal overlapping position. A good image can be obtained without any deviation.

Furthermore, in the thermal development transfer device configured according to claim (2), the overlapping roller directly contacts the heating drum, and the exposed photothermographic material and the image receiving material are sandwiched between the overlapping roller and the heating drum. Here, the overlapping rollers 60 and 62 are connected to the heating drum 34.
Since the overlapping roller 60 located on the side is harder than the overlapping roller 62 located on the outside, the photosensitive material 16 and the image receiving material 32 sandwiched between these overlapping rollers are as shown in FIG. They are curved along the outer periphery of the overlapping roller 60 and overlapped with a predetermined curvature. For this reason, a difference in winding diameter corresponding to the wall thickness that occurs when the photosensitive material 16 and image receiving material 32 are wound around the outer periphery of the heating drum 34 is already generated at the time of overlapping, so that normal overlapping occurs during transfer. This is to prevent positional deviation from occurring.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG.
The photosensitive material 16 and the image receiving material 32 are placed in contact with each other.
It is also possible to have a structure in which these are sandwiched between the overlapping roller 66 and the heating drum 34 and overlapped. In this case, since the overlapping of both materials and the winding around the heating drum 34 are performed simultaneously, it is more effective without causing positional deviation.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the heat development transfer device according to the present invention wraps the exposed heat development photosensitive material and the image receiving material around the outer periphery of the drum, heats it, thermally develops the heat development photosensitive material, and receives the image. It has an excellent effect in that a good image can be obtained without transfer deviation when transferring an image to a material.
