Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a bathing agent high in safety for skins, excellent in the antimicrobial action, and having a dermatosis-treating effect. CONSTITUTION:This bathing agent contains an asymmetric thiamine disulfide derivative of formula I (R1 is lower alkyl; R2 is oxygen-containing heterocyclic group), e.g. furfuryl thiamine disulfide, as an active ingredient. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a thiamine compound of formula II with a compound of formula III obtained by the reaction of an organic halide having an oxygen-containing heterocyclic group with sodium thiosulfate. The concentration of the compound of formula I in a hot bath is >=0.001g, usually 0.01-0.05g, in 1l of the bathing hot water.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventional bathing agents have been known to be used by throwing them into a bath for bathing. Such a bath agent is usually composed of an inorganic salt such as sodium sulfate or sodium chloride mixed with various medicinal components and fragrances. In this case, by selecting the medicinal component, it is possible to obtain a bath preparation having an effect according to the medicinal component. So far, as a bath agent component having an antibacterial or bactericidal effect, sodium sulfide and inorganic sulfides such as iron sulfate and iron subsulfide have been used. However, these are still insufficient in their antibacterial effects, and also have problems such as damage to the skin. Further, medicinal plants are known as other bath ingredients having an antibacterial effect, but these are unsatisfactory in their antibacterial effects and are generally expensive. On the other hand, the present inventor has previously found that the asymmetric thiamine disulfide derivative represented by the general formula shown below has an excellent antibacterial action, and is used as a therapeutic agent for skin diseases (JP-A-62-190124) and Trichophyton. The reagent of the general formula (III) which is reacted with the thiamine compound of the general formula (II) can be obtained by reacting an organic halide having an oxygen-containing heterocyclic group with sodium thiosulfate. In this case, the type of the organic halide having an oxygen-containing heterocyclic group is not particularly limited, but generally a furfuryl halide or its ring hydride, such as tetrahydrofurfuryl halide, is used. For specific compound examples of the asymmetrical thiamine disulfide derivative obtained as described above (for example, R 2 = tetrahydrofurfuryl etc.), for example, “Handbook-cosmetics, drug substance”, revised edition (1972), It is shown in P446 (published by Nikko Chemicals Co., Ltd.).

As described above, the asymmetric thiamine disulfide derivative used in the present invention has been found to have an excellent antibacterial action by the research of the present inventor, and the skin of eczema, acne, heat rash, etc. It has been confirmed that it has a disease treatment effect, is highly safe to the skin, and is substantially harmless. This thiamine disulfide derivative exhibits excellent skin absorbability and easily penetrates into skin tissue during bathing. Then, this thiamine disulfide derivative decomposes in tissues and returns to vitamin B 1 again.
It is considered to generate (R 2 SO). The excellent antibacterial effect obtained by using the thiamine disulfide derivative is considered to be due to this sulfoxide which is a by-product in the decomposition of thiamin disulfide into vitamin B 1 in the tissue. Further, the antibacterial action of this sulfoxide (R 2 SO) is due to its sulfur atom. Therefore,
In the present invention, the type of the oxygen-containing heterocyclic group R 2 is not limited to a specific agent, and any one can be used as long as it gives an asymmetrical thiamine disulfide derivative. The bath agent of the present invention contains the above-mentioned thiamine disulfide derivative as an essential component, and may further contain conventional inorganic salts, perfumes, herbal medicines and the like. When the solubility of the thiamine disulfide derivative in a hot water bath is too low, the thiamine disulfide derivative can be used as a water-soluble salt by using it as an inorganic acid salt or an organic acid salt. When this is put into a hot water bath, the concentration of the thiamine disulfide derivative in the hot water bath is 0.0
It may be added in an amount of 01 g or more, usually 0.01 to 0.05 g.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION The bath agent of the present invention contains the above-mentioned asymmetrical thiamine disulfide derivative as a component thereof, and therefore exhibits an excellent therapeutic effect on bacterial skin diseases such as heat rash and acne. . In addition, this thiamine disulfide derivative has high safety to the skin and is substantially harmless, so that it can be safely used. Further, the thiamine disulfide itself exhibits a bath agent effect such as a heat retaining effect.

Reference Example 1 To a solution prepared by dissolving 16.2 g of furfuryl bromide in 50 cc of ethanol was added a solution prepared by dissolving 25.0 g of sodium thiosulfate in 50 cc of water, heated under reflux for 2 hours and then cooled to room temperature.
Separately, dissolve 33.4 g of thiamine in 70 g and add 12 g of caustic soda to 3 g.
Prepare a solution neutralized with a solution dissolved in 0 g of water. The above reaction solution is immediately added to this thiamine solution. The produced precipitate was filtered and dried to obtain 27 g of the desired product.

Example 1 When 2 g of the hydrochloride of furfurylthiamine disulfide was placed in a bath containing 200 liters of hot water and bathed, the body was warmed well and the stiffness of the shoulders was loosened. The thiamine disulfide used in the present invention was kept warm. It was confirmed that the general bathing agent effect such as the effect was exhibited. In addition, when a baby with a heat rash was bathed twice a day in the bath water prepared in the same manner as described above, the heat rash was completely improved on the second day. It was confirmed to have a therapeutic effect.

Example 2 An experiment was conducted in the same manner as in Example 1 except that tetrahydrofurfurylthiamine was used in place of the furfurylthiamine. Also in this case, the same result as in Example 1 was obtained. For comparison, a similar test was carried out using thiamine hydrochloride, but in this case, almost no effect was obtained. From the results of the above bathing test, it was confirmed that thiamin (vitamin B 1 ) itself does not have a particular antibacterial action, but that thiamin disulfide exhibits an excellent antibacterial action.
