分は洗濯後に前記のようにスリーブ2を別に乾燥仕上げ
しなければならないのであるが、第4図に示す方法は熱
板3と緊張筒4が接近しすぎているため、熱板3による
仕上面が緊張筒4による仕上面に続く部分に無理が生じ
てこの部分にシワが寄る。また、第5図の方法はスリー
ブ2とカフス部7の間はなめらかに変化するがスリーブ
2は膨らむだけであるため、シワが完全に伸びない。従
って上記何れの方法も一長一短があり、仕上り状態(外
観、風合)が悪く、シワが発生するという問題があっ
た。

り内側より緊張させて仕上げ乾燥するが、この両緊張筒
の開閉方向は上記熱板によるタック部の仕上面に対して
ほぼ直角となっており、この両緊張筒の外側縁が極小ア
ールとなっているから、Yシャツの縫製段階でのタック
スリーブの仕上り状態と同じになり、タックスリーブの
肩部から肱部にかけての仕上げラインが綺麗についてこ
の部分のシワも綺麗に伸ばされて仕上げられる。しかも
この発明はスリーブ部を押さえる熱板と緊張筒間に50〜
300m/m程度の十分な距離をもたせ、ここに熱風を吹き込
んで膨張させて仕上げ乾燥することにより、ほぼ90°の
角度をもって仕上げられるタック部とスリーブが連続す
る部分に無理を生じない。従って、この部分の仕上げも
良好となるなどの効果がある。
