Here, the glass material or the glass powder has a coefficient of thermal expansion similar to that of the glass plate, and both may use the same material. The coloring applied to the glass material may be one surface or both surfaces of the glass material. When coloring is applied to one side of the glass material surface,
The glass material is preferably transparent. This is because by placing the colored glass material face down on the glass plate, the colored portion can be contained and the discoloration or peeling of the color can be prevented. The coloring of the glass powder may be a part or the whole.

In any of the above-mentioned inventions of claim 1 or 2, the glass material or glass powder whose surface is colored beforehand is used, and the glass material or glass powder is thermally expanded. It is designed to be joined by melting with glass plates having similar coefficients. Therefore, the glass material or glass powder is melt-bonded to the glass plate, and unlike the conventional melt-bonding of the colored glass and the glass plate, it is not the melt-bonding of those having different thermal expansion coefficients, but the finished decorative glass product. There will be no cracking or damage to the joint.

According to the third aspect of the invention, the glass material or the glass powder having a thermal expansion coefficient similar to that of the glass plate is placed on the glass plate together with the coloring material, and heated and melted. The coloring baking process is performed at the same time by utilizing the heating at the time of fusion bonding of the glass material or glass powder and the glass plate. Therefore, the decorative glass product can be manufactured more efficiently than the invention according to claim 1 or 2. Further, also in the invention according to claim 3, unlike the conventional fusion bonding of colored glass and a glass plate, coloring is performed by using fusion bonding of a glass material or glass powder having a similar coefficient of thermal expansion and a glass plate. Since it is applied, it is possible to prevent cracks and damages in the joint portion of the finished decorative glass product.

EXAMPLES Next, an example of the manufacturing method according to claim 1 will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, the surface of the glass material 1 is colored and shaped into a predetermined pattern. To process. The coloring may be performed after processing into a shape having a predetermined pattern. Then, the processed glass material 1
Is placed on the glass plate 2 and heated and melted to form the glass material 1.
The glass plate 2 and the glass plate 2 can be joined together to obtain the decorative glass product 3. In this case, if the colored surface of the glass material 1 is set to the inside, the colored surface is enclosed in the glass base material, and the decorative glass product 3 excellent in weather resistance without discoloration can be obtained.

FIG. 3 is a front view showing a lighting cover 20 manufactured by using the manufacturing method according to the first aspect of the present invention. The lighting cover 20 has a glass cover body 21 with different colors. A large number of colored glass pieces 22 are fusion-bonded. In such a manufacturing method, first, the glass pieces 22 of different colors are melt-bonded to each other, and these are further melt-bonded to the glass cover body 21, so that complicated decoration can be easily performed. it can. Furthermore, the cover body 21 to which the glass piece 22 is melt-bonded can be easily bent to be further heated. Therefore, for example, a method of melting and joining the glass piece 22 to the cover body 21 formed in a flat plate shape and then molding the cover body 21 into a curved shape can be adopted.
With such a processing method, fusion bonding of the glass pieces 22 can be performed easily and reliably, and manufacturing efficiency can be improved.

Next, an example of the manufacturing method according to claim 2 will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 4, after the surface of the glass material 1 is colored, the glass material 1 is crushed to produce a glass powder 4. The glass powder 4 is placed on the glass plate 2 so as to form a predetermined pattern, heated and melted to bond the glass material 1 and the glass plate 2 to each other, whereby the decorative glass product 3 can be obtained. The production of the glass powder 4 whose surface is colored is not limited to the method described above, and the powdered glass may be colored.
