Temperature degree for heating must be lower than that for curing so that plasticity of unvulcanized rubber does not disappear.

造し、サイド部の凸発生率を調べた。その結果を示すと
表1の通りである。尚表中“凸発生率の比”とは、定尺
シートのつき合せジョイントを加熱なしで行う以外は、
本発明と全く同条件で製造した参考タイヤのサイド部の
凸発生率を“100”とした場合の比率である。
