調整できる様になっている。6はクランプボタンで床用
吸口等に連結する延長管を接続保持するものである。7
は気密パッキンで曲がり継手1と延長管(図示せず)の
気密を保持するものである。8は曲がり継手1と継手カ
バー2とを固定するためのネジ、9は電池収納部23に
取付けて収納部を覆い、ふたの役割をする電池カバーで
ある。電池カバー9には電池10と電気的導通を行なう
ための端子A25が固定されている。また、電池収納部
23に一体に設けられている係止孔17に引掛るための
爪部24が一体に形成されている。11は端子A25と
同様電気的導通を行なうバネ性を有した端子Bを設けて
いる。19は20のLEDを有した基板を保持するため
のケースである。さらにホース取付部22には螺旋状の
突起を有する柔軟なホース12に筒状のホース掛止部材
15を取付け、気密保持を目的とするパッキン部材13
をホース係止部材15に固定するためパッキン係止部材
14をパッキン係止部材13の外周に位置させ、ホース
取付部22に挿入し、ホース取付部に設けてある係止孔
18にホース止め具16に設けてある爪部26を係止し
取付けている。電池収納部23を把手3の位置に設けた
場合、実用上把手3にはかなりの曲げ力が加わるため端
子B11と電池10との接触の信頼性が問題となる。ま
た、把手3に設けると単3電池以上の大きさの電池を収
納するとかなり太い形状となり握りづらくなり取扱い性
も悪くなる。また、曲がり継手1には吸込力の調整など
を行なうための制御基板5が内蔵されているものが多く
制御基板5下面に位置させると電池10(単3乾電池)
を曲がり継手1に対し垂直にした場合、幅が広くなり必
要以上に大きな形状になり、さらには容易に電池を交換
できる様な構造としなければならないため内部を複雑な
構造とすることになってしまう。また電池収納部23を
ホース取付部22に対し平行な位置させることにより縦
方向に長くする必要もなく、デザイン上もスリムな形状
となる。電池収納部23をホース取付部22に対し垂直
にした場合、把手3スペースが小さくなりボタンを容易
に押せる位置で握れなくなってしまうが、平行に位置に
することにより把手3と電池収納部23の間に広いスペ
ースが確保でき実用上容易に人の手が入り握りやすく操
作ボタンを容易に押せる位置となる。さらにはホース取
付部22と平行なため、金型構造も同一方向となり一方
向のスライドで可能となり一実施例である電池収納部2
3のカバーを図2に示す電池カバー9や図1の蓋をスラ
イドさせるスライドカバー21を設けた構造にもできる
