[Industrial applications]

The present invention relates to a fixing structure for a protector and a corrugated tube, and in particular, a wire harness wired to a vehicle or the like is inserted into a protector fixed to a vehicle body and is continuously inserted through the corrugated tube from the protector. Then, the connecting portion between the protector and the corrugated tube is securely connected and fixed via a separate fixing member.

【0002】[0002]

[Prior art]

Usually, a wire harness that is wired in a vehicle or the like is covered with a corrugated tube that has an uneven portion protruding from the outer peripheral surface to prevent damage and prevent water from entering. The corrugated tube and the protector are connected and fixed at a place where the wire harness covering the corrugated tube is inserted into the protector fixed to the vehicle body.

Conventionally, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the corrugated tube and the protector are connected to the protector body 2 having a semi-cylindrical shape by connecting one end of the corrugated tube 1 to the corrugated tube regardless of whether or not the corrugated tube has a slit. After the insertion, the cover 3 having a semi-cylindrical shape is covered, and the locking rib 3a provided at the tip of the cover 3 is fitted and locked in the recess 1a on the outer peripheral surface of the corrugated tube 1, and the corrugated tube 1 is protected. It is sandwiched and fixed between 2 and the cover 3.

【0004】[0004]

[Problems to be solved by the device]

However, in the connection between the corrugated tube and the protector by the above method, when the locking rib 3a of the cover 3 comes into contact with the convex portion 1c of the corrugated tube, as shown in FIG. More overlapping as shown.

In this state, since the hollow cross-sectional area S of the corrugated tube 1 becomes small, it becomes difficult to attach the cover 3 by the wire harness (not shown) inserted through the corrugated tube 1 and the locking rib 3a of the cover 3 is provided. Does not engage with the concave portion 1a of the corrugated tube 1 and easily separates when external force such as tension is applied to the corrugated tube. In this case, the wire harness inserted inside the protector and the corrugated tube is exposed, and the exposed wire harness may be damaged.

[0006] Furthermore, the overlap of the corrugated tubes also overlaps on the outside of the protector, resulting in a poor appearance and, depending on the case, water leakage from the overlapped gaps.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and aims to reliably connect and fix a corrugated tube and a protector that protect a wire harness that is wired to a vehicle or the like.

【0008】[0008]

[Means for Solving the Problems]

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a structure in which a protector for continuously inserting a wire harness and a corrugated tube are fixed, and the protector includes a pair of upper and lower gutter-shaped main bodies and a cover. A semi-cylindrical protrusion is provided on the corrugated tube mounting side of the cover and the cover, and a projection in the circumferential direction is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the base of these protrusions to form a connecting portion. A fixing member that is fitted inside the corrugated tube and fitted outside the corrugated tube and the connecting portion that are continuous in series is provided, and the fixing member has a cylindrical shape having slits that are engaged with each other in the axial direction. A fixing structure for a protector and a corrugated tube is provided, in which a peripheral portion is provided with a concave portion that engages with the above-mentioned connecting portion and a convex portion on the outer peripheral surface of the corrugated tube. It is provided.

The fixing member has a pair of semi-cylindrical shapes, one end of which is integrally formed via a thin hinge portion, and lock portions which engage with each other are provided on the outer sides of the other ends.

The projections of the corrugated tube and the projections of the protector have their outer diameters set to be substantially the same, and are projected at substantially the same intervals in the axial direction. Further, the tip side of the protruding portion of the protector into which the corrugated tube is fitted is used as a mounting portion, and the outer diameter of the mounting portion is substantially the same as the inner diameter of the corrugated tube.

【0011】[0011]

[Action]

When the protector and the corrugated tube are fixed to each other, the fixing member having the above-described configuration can surely engage the concave portion on the inner surface of the fixing member with the convex portion on the outer peripheral surface of the protector. Further, since the corrugated tube is inserted with the protector mounting portion having a diameter substantially equal to the inner diameter of the corrugated tube, the corrugated tube is securely sandwiched and fixed between the mounting portion and the fixing member. Therefore, even when external tension is applied to the corrugated tube, the corrugated tube does not easily come off from the protector and can be securely held.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the embodiments shown in FIGS. In the present invention, the corrugated tube 10 that covers the wire harness W is connected and fixed to the protector 11 that is fixed to the vehicle body (not shown) using the fixing member 12. The corrugated tube 10 has convex portions 10b circumferentially provided at regular intervals in the axial direction on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 10a, and has a slit 10c extending in the axial direction from one end opening to the other end opening.

The protector 11 includes a gutter-shaped protector body 13 and a cover 14, and semi-cylindrical projections 15 and 16 are integrally formed on end faces of the protector body 13 and the cover 14 on the corrugated tube mounting side, respectively. After molding, the protector body 13 and the cover 14 are engaged with each other by locking means (not shown), and the protruding portions 15 and 16 form a cylindrical portion having a tip opening.

In addition, convex portions 15a and 16a are provided on the outer peripheral surface on the base side of the protruding portions 15 and 16 at predetermined intervals in the axial direction so as to project in the circumferential direction to form connecting portions 15b and 16b with the fixing member 12. At the same time, the projections 15a and 16a are not provided on the tip side, but the mounting portions 15c and 16c are fitted inside the cylindrical portion 10a of the corrugated tube 10.

The projections 15a and 16a are projected at the same intervals as the projections 10b of the corrugated tube 10 in the axial direction, and have the same outer diameter. With the protector main body 13 and the cover 14 engaged with each other, the locking pieces 15a and 16a are arranged to continuously project from each other in an annular shape.

The outer diameters of the protruding portions 15 and 16 are set to be substantially the same as the outer diameter of the cylindrical portion 10a of the corrugated tube 10, and the mounting portions 15c and 16c have the outer diameters set to the corrugated tube. It is set to be slightly smaller than the inner diameter of 10. In addition, as shown by the dotted line in FIG. 2, when the mounting portions 15c and 16c are inserted and fitted in the corrugated tube 10, the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion 10a of the corrugated tube 10 has the protector body 13 and It is set to be flush with the outer periphery of the connecting portions 15b and 16b of the cover 14.

In this embodiment, assuming that the outer diameter of the cylindrical portion formed by combining the mounting portions 15c and 16c is 100, the inner diameter of the corrugated tube 10 is 102.6, and the outer diameter of the convex portion 10b of the corrugated tube 10 is 125.3, the inner diameter of the recess 19 of the fixing member 12 described later is set to a ratio of 127.9.

As shown in FIG. 1, the fixing member 12 is integrally formed with one end of a pair of semi-cylindrical parts 12 A and 12 B via a thin hinge part 18. A lock piece 12A-2 having a locking claw portion 12A-1 at the tip thereof is provided on the outer surface of the non-continuous end of the one semi-cylindrical portion 12A opposite to the hinge portion 18, and the other semi-cylindrical portion is provided. A lock portion 12B-2 having a locking hole 12B-1 into which the lock piece 12A-2 is inserted is provided on the outer surface of the non-continuous end of 12B. Therefore, when the pair of semi-cylindrical portions 12A and 12B are moved toward each other with the hinge portion 18 as a fulcrum, the lock pieces 12A-2 are detachably engaged with the lock portion 12B-2. I have to.

As shown in FIG. 2, the total length of the fixing member 12 is set to the total length of the connecting portions 15b and 16b protruding from the base of the protector 11 and the attaching portions 15c and 16c.

A plurality of recesses 19 are provided on the inner walls of the semi-cylindrical parts 12A and 12B at predetermined intervals in the axial direction. These recesses 19 engage with the protector 11 and the projections 15a, 16a, 10b of the corrugated tube 10 when the corrugated tube 10 is fitted onto the protector 11, so that they are securely fixed and held. I have to.

Next, an operation of fixing the corrugated tube 10 and the protector 11 using the fixing member 12 having the above structure will be described. First, after arranging the wire harness W to be wired to a vehicle or the like inside the protector body 13, while engaging the cover 14, the slit 10c of the corrugated tube 10 is unfolded to be fitted onto the wire harness W, The wire harness W is also inserted inside the corrugated tube 10.

Next, as shown by the dotted line in FIG. 2, the mounting portions 15c and 16c of the protector 11 are inserted from one end opening of the corrugated tube 10 and fitted therein. Since the corrugated tube 10 is provided with the slit 10c, the corrugate tube 10 can be easily inserted and inserted by widening the opening.

After that, the fixing member 12 is externally fitted to one end of the corrugated tube 10 which is externally fitted to the connecting portions 15b and 16b and the mounting portions 15c and 16c of the protector 11. This external fitting work is carried out by laterally fitting so that the convex portions 15a and 16a of the protector 11 and the convex portion 10b of the corrugated tube 10 engage with the concave portion 19 of the fixing member 12, and The lock piece 12A-2 of the fixed member 12 is engaged with the lock portion 12B-2.

In the assembled state, as shown in FIG. 3, the convex portions 15a and 16a of the protector 11 and the convex portion 10b of the corrugated tube 10 are engaged with the concave portion 19 of the fixing member 12. Further, the corrugated tube 10 is sandwiched between the mounting portions 15c and 16c of the protector 11 and the fixing member 12, and is securely connected and fixed. Therefore, even if an external force such as tension is applied to the corrugated tube 10 in this state, it does not separate.

The corrugated tube used in the present invention may be a corrugated tube which is not provided with the above-mentioned slits. In this case, the corrugated tube can be inserted into the mounting portion of the protector by press-fitting it through the opening. The same effect as that of the corrugated tube having the slit can be obtained.

【0026】[0026]

[Effect of device]

As is clear from the above description, in the present invention, the fixing member for connecting the corrugated tube and the protector is provided, and in the assembled state, the convex portion of the corrugated tube and the convex portion of the same shape provided on the protector are provided. The corrugated tubes are not overlapped by the slits because the corrugated tubes are engaged with the recesses of the fixing member at a number of places, and the protector mounting portion is internally fitted to one end of the corrugated tube. Therefore, the appearance of the exposed corrugated tube is not impaired, and water does not enter between the slits.

Further, in the assembled state, the corrugated tube is securely sandwiched and fixed by the inner mounting portion and the outer fixing member, so that the corrugated tube is separated from the protector even when an external force such as tension is applied. There is nothing to do. Therefore, there are various advantages such as that the wire harness inserted through the protector and the corrugated tube is not exposed.
