The impregnation of these porous materials with the aqueous dispersion is preferably performed by reduced pressure impregnation rather than mere impregnation under normal pressure. This is because selective absorption in which only a specific component in the components of the aqueous dispersion is preferentially absorbed is prevented, the amount of impregnation of the aqueous dispersion is increased, and the time required for impregnation is shortened.

At the same time, the ribbon is prevented from being stained and the ink is prevented from penetrating. The roll may be in contact with not only the head-facing surface of the ribbon but also the surface opposite to the head. In this case, the friction between the ribbon and the roll or guide roll that drives the ribbon is reduced, The ribbon travels smoothly, and the amount of electric power required to drive the ribbon is reduced.

Since the stain resistance and antifouling property are given, the contamination of the head due to ink is reduced and the ribbon travels extremely smoothly, which greatly extends the battery life, ribbon life and print head life. Unclear problems, ribbon running problems and other troubles will not occur for a long time.
